Hi guys, what are people's short and long term projections on al reef prices for resale rental ? I own 5 bed and just looking for some genuine insight as i dont live there and dont have my finger exactly on the pulse. Am I optimistic to think prices may increase with the development of downtown more landscaping etc ? How long away is it now from being ready? I seem to be getting Mis advised off various brokers so any un biased feedback whether good or bad is appreciated !

I have learnt that alreef downtown appartments will be ready for handedover in Jul 12. Can any please confirm this? Any updates on downtown project as the pics on manazel website are more than a year old

Yes I thinks it's accurate. I wentn on site last month and the apartments seemed very advanced/nearly finished.

They're not exactly customer oriented either. They are unresponsive and sometimes rude. I think I want my money back.

This will be followed by the delivery of 347 units by the end of April 2012, 343 units in July 2012, and 340 units the following September. The final phase will be completed with the handover of 452 residential units, in addition to retail stores and the community plaza at the end of December 2012."

Well, nothwithstanding the difficult times UAE property market is going through, I still feel AL Reef downtown is relatively a better bet as compared to other similar projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Its low cost makes it even more attractive proposition and in mid to long term it will surely pay dividends. As regards full building, you would be lucky to find a client in present scenario. Good luck any way.

Suggestions for snagging / inspection
My alreef downtown appartment is ready for snagging / inspection. Since i am not available for snagging / inspection myself, can some one suggest a good firm which can do snagging on my behalf. Manazel specialists have offered to do it free of cost on my behalf. Is it advisable to get it done by manazelspecialists? Any suggestion please?

Been at al reef desert village for sometime now, facing the runway...Nice. Any idea what's going on / project between Al Reef villa & the runway . Saw some concrete wall .. not aircraft hangars I hope ... |

hi dear all I live in Dubai and am interested in investing in a villa in Al reef.
There are a couple of communites there including contemporary and meditrranean. I am an investor and will not live in those villas myself. I am wondering which community is easier to rent out? in terms of location and things, which community is the best? Please let me know, thanks all. |

Well Joseph , the only freakin village right now with a grocery shop and take away resturant is the arabian village. thing is, its the first village to open and the quality of the houses there are not as good as the latest villages you mentioned
