Instead of black canvas should they not use a mirage cloth or board for the monuments.... Such us those that was use for ( arc de triomph, notre dame de aris, Duomo di milano )

Just quickly looked at this thread. Its hard to understand the rehabilitation but perhaps there is another web site with this information. So far, the dark netting over the former supreme court building looks awful, though I guess when it is removed everyone will be relieved. The flying saucer top of the new supreme court does not sit happily over the former City Hall or old supreme court in my opinion. It looks better from the north side.
Otherwise I hope the adaptive reuse of the city hall and old supreme court works well as a gallery, this would be good for Singapore - though I hope the fine interiors are retained and used well. Minimal intervention appears the best approach as others have said on this thread. |

Nope, that is an old picture that I dug from the Internet. Only the Old City Hall and Supreme Court are being renovated.

I think they are just reinforcing the grounds around City Hall for the redevelopment.
