Possible Democratic challenger to Scott in 2014?
Ex-Fla. Gov. Crist tweets he's joining Democratic Party.

Strategically, it makes the most sense. Democrats will back him over Rick Scott, they really would back a rock over him anyways. Independents still give him a good favorability rating. And some Republicans, mainly moderates, will support him and Scott still has a dismal approval rating from his own party.
On the other hand, he has done what Democrats had bashed Mitt for doing all of his campaign, flip-flopping. If it comes to Crist and Scott, obviously Crist will be my pick. But, I can think of a few others that would be better suited as the Democratic nominee.

![]() I wonder who will end up running on the Democratic side in 2014. I've seen Alex Sink floating around as a possibility as well.
