such a great location for a tower with just 370m? IMO a Megatall would fit here perfect

Just? People seem to be forgetting quite how tall 370m is! My city's tallest is just over 130m, and getting anything approved above 80m is a push!

This culster does not need a megatall. It is in balance as it is now.

well, we know chongqing, if the tower is too tall the chance of a height reduction or cancellation seems imminent. we have seen it so often in the past 370m is amazing already and i just hope it will stay that way without many problems, so that chongqing's skyline can slowly approach what it once promised.

I don't mean a cluster. What about 1 single tall tower in the middle?

I know how tall 370m are, don't worry . But the location looks so perfect for a megatall to me

That would be something different, but I still preffers dense clusters over lone megatalls.

I've read a lot recently about the controversial destruction of old structures in Chinese cities, but the truth is that it's the only thing preventing them from becoming shanty towns. Take a look at these dilapidated buildings that were on the very spot this complex will be built, before they were bulldozed circa 2008-09:

i like the indoor sky gardens. i wouldn't mind this design being final to be honest. also i am happy it is a rather big plot allocated, so a smaller sibling structure isn't unlikely to reach 300m as well

How does the affect the Metro Center Twin Towers (Lianglukou Center)? Are they now cancelled? It is my understanding that they were to be at the north-west part of the site.
