What if they don't remove the temporary stand and remain the capacity still at 68k after the tournament? I feel like the stadia is so gorgeous and the location doesn't seem to be bad... the result is that average attendance might be more than 60k in league matches. You must remember that Brazilians are the most footabll-holic people in the world and now that they've got so many brandnew football specific stadiums thanks to hosting WC. Plus their economy has been booming more than 10 yrs and middle class in Brazil more than doubled for that period who can afford to watch football matches, little influnced by global economic crisis (thanks to Lula da silva?) unlike most of the countries. What do you conclude from those facts?

My conclusion : They might not feel the need to spend money to remove the temporary stand because their league attendance also doubles or triples compared with what it used to be before the tournament.

The last one question : Can the temporary stand be installed again later once it's removed?

The temporary stands will be rented by the São Paulo State Government only just for WC matches. In order to it remains, Corinthians should buy them, but, a priori, there's no interest, due the maintenance costs. The stadium will be back to works after World Cup to make it more suitable for the club's use and it will be took off.

This capacity (48k) was defined by studies as the better solution on a scenario where the club plans full attendance for every game on a high-price-ticket basis. The attendance must rise, of course, the team has the best averages in brazilian league playing in a stadium like Pacaembu. For the future, there's plenty of space for expansions, building new permanent stands to arrive up to 70k when it be needed. I think it is unlikely to happen before next 10, 15 years.

Are the temporary stands still going to other local clubs after the World Cup?

Thanks. Sounds like they'll be rented, which makes sense. What's the betting that FIFA has recommmeded using NUSSLI for this?

Correct with current configuration it's around 48k seats, temporary seats will increase that to 65k during world cup only to be able to host the openning match.

Will be installed, on the north and south side, two rings that can hold 10k, increasing the capacity with 20k

The temporary stands will have ~10k seats each one. It's almost like putting two Dortmund's südtribunes behind the goals.
