This shot really shows how dynamic Chicago's skyline is. It has ups and downs, just like a roller coaster, and it forces your eyes to flow through it.
...as opposed to NYC (in my opinion) which has that knee-jerk "holy fuck that's a lot of buildings" reaction. But yea, Chicago has tons of trees. Hell, sometimes I think there's more greenery here than in the suburbs. |

I always thought the Chicago skyline was more aesthetically appealing than the New York skyline with the way it flows together rather than how Manhattan has that break between downtown and midtown.
