Yes, that's a great angle. It makes the city look really dense and I like the way the highway winds toward it like you're approaching a great city.

Yes, like that view. When approaching from the south, the city gets smaller-looking from that point on.

That is a great photo.

The buildings look similar and complement each other. They don't look the same.
Continuity makes for much better skyline, IMO. Check out Shanghai for an ugly-ass city where buildings compete for attention just for the sake of it. Check out any city in Brazil to see a bunch of buildings that look alike.

It doesn't exactly capture the entire skyline. There is the Santa Maria to the left of the photo, and Opera Tower, Quantum on the Bay, and Paramount on Edgewater Square to the right of the photo, all over 500 feet tall. But this is the best anybody can do and still do the Miami skyline justice.

This is my feelling exactly and why I think Miami has a great waterfront skyline.

My only real issue with the buildings is that so many are around the same height (so many buildings between 450 to 550 feet). You can almost draw a straight line across the picture and connect the roofs of half the buildings. Getting a few taller ones piercing out from the pack will add more contrast to the skyline (1101 Brickell, Banco Santander?, OBP...).

This will give the city more of the kind of skyline that I think Miami should have.

As it appears that 1101 Brickell will get done first, it will appear to be the pinnacle of the skyline, based on the above perspective, noticeably slightly taller than both Four Seasons and Southeast.

And maybe it will be taller than 831 feet too.
