they tore down all other houses except this one. I talked to a security guard and he told me that the interior of this house is in pretty good shape but he also doesn't know what they are going to do with it. My guess is they might keep it as a community/meeting centre or might be even a guests house for the future condos owners.

I see that old house is still defiantly standing! It would be good to see those ugly lowrise strata condos demolished and redeveloped.

Agreed, those old apartments should be torn down but I don't think they will demolish that small house...

Talisker: a lot of the 3 story low-rises are rental apartments, dating back to the early 70's. Not sure what percentage are strata ownership; that's a Burnaby question. I'm sure that some of the rental building owners would love to redevelop their properties; not too sure about their tenants, though...
