Well, first of all, I hope RG3 has not sustained a season ending injury to his knee...fingers crossed. Without him, I don't think we will get anywhere fast. I do have one question for all the Ravens Fans in the forum about todays game. Why did Flaco only pass the ball 21 times against one of the leagues bottom ranked pass defense teams??? I am quite puzzled over that stat. Seems to me that Harbaugh would have tried to exploit the 'Skins secondary more than he did...

Because the Skins can't stop the run either.

He sure should have eaten the ball on that interception, and settled for a field goal.
![]() Looked like at least 10,000 Ravens fans were down there...

i can't comment on the game this week, nor can i comment on the Pittsburgh game last week. I'd probably get banned from SSC for all the inappropriate language being used. Both Pittsburgh & Cincinnati lost, so we're still in good shape.
so frustrating...

Aside from Flacco's wreckless play, where was the defense during the final two plays of regulation? Why was the Wash. Receiver so open in the end zone? On the two point conversion who was watching the QB? We are supposed to have the best special teams. Where were they on the OT punt? Last edited by Gsol; December 10th, 2012 at 08:29 PM. |

just heard from a friend that after Cam Cameron left the training camp, he was in a car accident & broke both of his legs. All of this just doesn't leave real. I really hope it isn't true...

Saw the same thing on Facebook. Nothing on the news, though, so it must not be true.

...until one or the other are eliminated, anything is possible. My statement was a wish, not a bold prediction.

guys, throughout the season, we've had twelve starters hurt! Right now, we have everyone back. As for Joe, some of his best games have came in the playoffs, so he'll show up. You're gonna' see a new Joe starting on Sunday, Gsol. Andrew Luck, you're gonna' have a problem come Sunday, and that's all I'm gonna' say about that. In the end, Ravens-24, Colts-10. ....as for our burgundy & gold neighbors to the south, this is y'all's first playoff appearance since '05, so congrats on that. RG3 is, at best, at about 50% healthiness right now, so that's gotta' be some concern. Whether y'all want to admit it or not, there's a serious quarterback controversy goin' on down there. Actually, I think Collins is better. But in the end, Redskins-20, Seahawks-13.

I think Vages gives the Ravens 3 for home field, then they are confident with the Ravens' experience in the post season. But, in reality the game comes down to its play on the field. Which Flacco are we going to see on Sunday? Will his passes be more accurate? What about Bolden, can he hold on if the ball is in his hands. Same for Smith and Pitta. The only consistent guy on the field is Rice, and pearce is also impressive. So if we see the team that was on the field two weeks ago, they win. Last edited by Gsol; January 1st, 2013 at 05:32 PM. |

Seattle in Seattle is SCARY. In DC.? It's an even game, imo. Anything could happen. At least, for Washington's sake, it's good to know that their "second" QB is as good as he is, "if", something should go wrong with RG3. I think Ravens really were afraid to win last week against Cincinnati, imo, for fear of advancing a seed higher, (with the potential New England loss to Miami), and having to beat the odds again by beating Cincy again. I think they were smart for taking the loss and resting their 1st string players. Very smart. I think Baltimore will play smart, and with passion this coming Sunday. The key is: "No Penalties". That and play good solid ball and I believe they will beat Indy. To tell you the truth Denver is the team that I think is the scariest opponent to play.

Kinda like those badminton players in the Olympics, huh?
![]() I thought the same thing. You really don't want to face the same team 3 times. They would have a good handle on your tendancies, but it works both ways. However, would a 3rd seed, in some way, have resulted in another home playoff game if things were to break the right way? I think the only scenario that would result in that would be if Cincy were to beat both of their opponents, and the Ravens the same, which would result in the AFC championship being played at the Bank. So being the 3rd or 4th seed probably doesn't matter, which is why Harbaugh treated Sunday's game as an exhibition.

cincy possibly upsetting New England would shake up the entire scenario of the AFC playoffs significantly. I truly believe that the Patriots are the one team in our conference that no one wants to face....not even top-seeded Denver.
