I've only been to Winnipeg once so I have no idea what street that is. A pedestrian bridge would make a lot of sense.

How far away is the stadium from downtown Winnipeg?

Or they could be letting the remaining exterior work go until about April, and instead focusing on things like wiring, plumbing and the rest of the indoor stuff. No one doubts that the stadium will open on time this season.

Looks like the Jets are trying to get an Outdoor game (Hertitage Classic) for the Jets here in 2016. I think with the sightlines they could have a great game with 40,000 people there!

A very nice home for the Bombers and a great addition to the CFL stadia!

I sort of wish that the Alouettes could get more from the Percival Molson stadium... But I guess it's never going to happen!

Next up is the new "Green" House!

Should've replaced the numerous metal railings with clear safety glass.

What would be the benefit since they don't seem to obstruct any views? Would it meet code?

I thought there was restricted views, I mean, I'm sure there was an article that related to that. I've no idea what the rules and regs say in Canada in regards to having safety glass in those areas, but in Europe we're seeing more stadiums using safety glass instead of metal railings. One company that provides this system is based here in the UK.

I see. It's a little hard to tell if those railings obstruct views based on the photos provided thus far, but based on the fact that there are other obstructed views that exist it's quite possible. Glass would be preferable in that instance; as long as it were up to code.
