If you copy and paste it around the model, say you copy the section 7 times to cover the entire stand with seats, they will all stay the same and this reduces file size and therefor lag. If you want to make one of them unoique to for example delete seats around the players tunnel then make sure you right click and 'make unique' before doing so or itll change all the sections.

If yoyu wqant that same section in another project then I ususaly just open both files and copy from one model and paste in the other.

Hope this answers your question

Now I have a question What colour seats should I use in my arena? I was thinking Dark Blue but maybe that is too similar to the friends arena?

Thanks for the answer pal haha I've been having a problem with file size and major lag once I created anything with a lot of detail

My stadium is designed so that the front row is as close to the pitch as possible, so no room there :/

these are recommendations, not requirements. Personally I disagree with it, because 220 from 45000 is approx. 1 in 20 people. No way are 1 in 20 people disabled, so why should a disabled person have more right to get tickets for a game than your average person?

It is 1 in 200. In my opinion the recommendation is way too high.

I added a few more wheelchair spaces, but not many.

Excluding wheelchairs and helpers seats, the lower tier currently holds 24,980 and the middle tier holds 12,284.

I'm now not sure how many press seats to install. I have created a few on both the tiers, currently there are: 51 with desks on the lower tier; 97 with desks on the middle tier; 100 without desks on the middle tier (I could make these straightforward Business or VIP seats). I was thinking of making the bottom ones commentary maybe and the middle ones journalists?

I have also built a directors box/ honorary box on the upper tier. If the stadium hosts finals this can be converted very easily into a box where the players can recieve medals and trophys although thats often done on the pitch these days.

Anyway, does anyone know how many press seats are required/ reccomended for an international standard 45/50k capacity stadium?

Got randomly inspired to try a ground with some corners for once... So here it is so far Top tier is as steep as allowed in football now (34 degrees) so it has a pretty nice view as it overhangs the lower tier as well, also has no restricted views at all All areas of the ground ARE accessible, the stairwells are at the back of each tier on the little platform behind the top row

Opinions please?

From the front

From the back (texture didn't render for some reason, so we're left with a white wall...)

Looking across the stand behind the goal from the upper tier

From behind the goal

All seats are done except VIP seats.

Capacity will be nearer to 55k than 45k.

I might design my own version of New Red Wings arena. Have they published any details of the future arena? Capacity? Number of suites? Location?

Actually you can make steeper stands, but according to FIFA patterns stands with more than 34 degrees must have railings between each row .

For width 0,80 meters is common. For height it depends on how steep you want the stand to be.

Ok, Ive done 2 seating colours, All dark blue and a mix between Redf, Blue and White (Plus Black VIP seats). Which do people prefer? I'm not sure:

All Blue:

Or Multi-coloured (May look better in a different order?):

I still have to do Video screens, I keep forgetting them, and then the inside is practically done.

The Capacity at the moment:

Overall: 55,998

Top Tier: 16,812
Middle Tier: 11,970
Lower Tier: 24,980
VIP Level: 1,980

Honourary Box: 84
Press with desks: 122
Press without desks: 50

Still have to add helpers seats to the wheelchair spaces but that total should only go up.
What do you think?

I think the all blue looks better, but it does not feel 'Norwegian' if you know what I mean. There is so much red in our flag and our shirts have always had red as the main colour. As for the multi-coloured seating pattern I would play around with some different combinations, as right now it looks like the Russian flag.

If you want to use the flag as inspiration look at this picture showing the ratio of the different colours in the flag
http://www.flaggfabrikk.no/flagg/nor..._detaljert.png

Aside from the seat colour I think the stadium looks very nice, great work! I really like the amount of detail you put in like handrails on the stairs, etc...
