ไทยติดอันดับ 1 ใช้งาน LINE บ่อยสุดในโลก

เอ็น เอช เอ็น คุยประเทศไทยถือเป็นประเทศที่มีการใช้งาน 'LINE' ต่อเนื่องใน 24 ชั่วโมงเป็นอันดับ 1 จากปริมาณผู้ใช้งานในประเทศที่มีอัตราการเติบโต 1,150% เมื่อเทียบกับช่วงต้นปี ด้วยยอดผู้ใช้งานที่ทะลุ 10 ล้านราย จากผู้ใช้งานทั่วโลก 85 ล้านราย

จิน วู ลี ตัวแทนฝ่ายธุรกิจของ LINE บริษัท เอ็น เอช เอ็น คอร์ปอเรชั่น เปิดเผยถึงยอดผู้ใช้งานแชตแอปพลิเคชันในประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการด้วยจำนวนผู้ใช้ทะลุ 10 ล้านรายไปเมื่อต้นเดือนธันวาคมที่ผ่านมา คิดเป็นอัตราการเติบโตกว่า 1,150% เมื่อเทียบกับช่วงต้นปีที่ผ่านมา ส่วนยอดผู้ใช้งานทั่วโลกปัจจุบันอยู่ที่ 85 ล้านราย

“ประเทศไทยมีผู้ใช้งาน LINE เป็นอันดับที่ 3 ของโลก รองจากญี่ปุ่น และไต้หวัน แต่ถ้ามองในแง่ของการใช้งานกว่า 50% ของผู้ใช้จะมีการใช้งานใน 24 ชั่วโมง ส่งผลให้ผู้ใช้ในไทยมีการใช้งานบ่อยครั้งที่สุด ขณะที่สัดส่วนของระบบปฏิบัติการที่ใช้งานในช่วงต้นปีจะมีปริมาณไอโอเอสมากกว่า แต่ในปัจจุบันแอนดรอยด์กลายเป็นระบบปฏิบัติการที่มีผู้ใช้งาน LINE มากที่สุดถึง 55% รองลงมาเป็นไอโอเอสที่ 40% ส่วนแบล็กเบอร์รี และวินโดวส์โฟนรวมกันที่ 5%”

สำหรับโมเดลธุรกิจของ LINE จะมีรายได้มาจาก 2 ส่วนหลัก คือ B2B ระหว่างบริษัทกับองค์กรต่างๆ ที่ต้องการเข้ามาสร้าง Official Account และ Sticker ของแต่ละแบรนด์ อีกส่วนหนึ่งคือ B2C หรือระหว่างบริษัทกับผู้ใช้งานทั่วไป ผ่านการซื้อ Sticker และอุปกรณ์เสริมในเกม

“เรายืนยันว่าจะไม่มีการเพิ่มแบนเนอร์โฆษณาในแอปฯ เพราะปัจจุบันรายได้หลักของ LINE มาจากการจำหน่าย Sticker มากกว่า 3,400 รูปแบบ จากกว่า 100 เซต และจะทยอยเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง”

โดยปัจจุบัน Official Account ขององค์กรในประเทศไทยที่มีผู้ติดตามมากที่สุดคือ การบินไทย (Thai Airways) ที่ 2.2 ล้านราย รองลงมาคือ CP ที่ราว 2.1 ล้านราย ขณะที่ในส่วนของ Sticker ที่มีการดาวน์โหลดมากที่สุดคือ Sticker จากธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ (SCB) ที่เพิ่งเปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดในเดือนพฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมา ปัจจุบันมีการดาวน์โหลดไปใช้งานมากกว่า 2.47 ล้านราย

“ปัจจุบันมีองค์กรและบริษัทที่ติดต่อเข้ามาขอเปิด Official Account และสร้าง Sticker กับ LINE เป็นจำนวนมาก แต่ด้วยข้อกำหนดของบริษัททำให้ต้องมีการคัดกรองบริษัทเหล่านี้ และเลือกเฟ้นเฉพาะบริษัทที่ดีที่สุดให้แก่ลูกค้า อีกทั้งยังต้องการปกป้องสิทธิส่วนบุคคลของผู้ใช้งานให้มากที่สุด”

สำหรับแนวทางการดำเนินธุรกิจในปี 2013 ของ LINE ยังคงยึด 4 แนวทางธุรกิจเดิมที่ทำมาในปี 2012 คือการเพิ่มมัลติฟังก์ชันแอปฯ ภายใต้ชื่อของ LINE ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเกม เครื่องมือการใช้งาน แอปฯ กล้องถ่ายภาพ แอปฯ ตกแต่งรูปที่จะมีเพิ่มในปีหน้ามากกว่า 10 แอปฯ ถัดมาคือการเพิ่มอุปกรณ์ที่สามารถใช้งานจากปัจจุบันที่มีในสมาร์ทโฟนและเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์เท่านั้น

นอกจากนี้ก็ยังเตรียมพร้อมให้บริการในระบบปฏิบัติการใหม่ๆ (ครอสแพลตฟอร์ม) ที่จะออกสู่ตลาด นอกเหนือจาก 5 ระบบปฏิบัติการที่ให้บริการอยู่ในปัจจุบัน และสุดท้ายคือการให้บริการในแง่ของโซเชียลแพลตฟอร์มที่ครบถ้วนมากขึ้น หลังจากเปิดให้บริการ Timeline ในช่วงกลางปีที่ผ่านมา

กรุงเทพฯยังคงเป็นเมืองน่าชอปปิ้งในสายตาคนทั่วโลก

เผยผลสำรวจจากทริปแอดไวเซอร์ กรุงเทพฯ คว้าอันดับ 2 เมืองที่เหมาะกับการชอปปิ้งซื้อของมากที่สุดในโลก โดยแชมป์เป็นของมหานครนิวยอร์ก สหรัฐอเมริกา

ทริปแอดไวเซอร์(TripAdvisor) เว็บไซต์ท่องเที่ยว รายใหญ่ที่สุดในโลกของสหรัฐอเมริกา เปิดเผยผลสำรวจ เมืองน่าเที่ยวในด้านต่างๆ จากมุมมองของนักท่องเที่ยวทั่วโลก ผลปรากฏว่า กรุงเทพมหานคร เมืองหลวงของประเทศไทย ติดอันดับที่ 2 เมืองที่เหมาะกับการชอปปิ้งซื้อของมากที่สุดในโลก โดยเป็นรองแค่มหานครนิวยอร์ก ของสหรัฐฯ

โดยจากผลการสำรวจความคิดเห็นครั้งนี้ นิวยอร์ก สหรัฐอเมริกา ได้รับการโหวตว่าเป็นแหล่งช้อปปิ้งที่ยอดเยี่ยมที่สุด ส่วนในภูมิภาคเอเชียเมืองที่ติดอันดับในเรื่องนี้ ได้แก่ กรุงเทพฯ ที่อยู่ในอันดับที่ 2 ในขณะที่โตเกียวอยู่ในอันดับที่ 5 ส่วนฮ่องกง และกัวลาลัมเปอร์อยู่ในอันดับที่ 6 และ 8 ตามลำดับ

นอกจากนี้ กรุงเทพฯ ยังติดอันดับ 3 เมืองที่มีค่าเงินถูกและคุ้มค่าต่อการมาท่องเที่ยวมากที่สุดในโลกอีกด้วย ตามหลังกรุงลิสบอนของโปรตุเกส และเมืองบูดาเปสต์ของฮังการี ส่วนเมืองในภูมิภาคเอเชียที่ติดอันดับในเรื่องนี้ ได้แก่ ฮานอย (อันดับ 4) และกัวลาลัมเปอร์ (อันดับ 9)

สำหรับประเทศอื่นๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ปรากฏว่า สิงคโปร์ ติดอันดับ 1 ใน 3 ของเมืองที่คนขับรถแท็กซี่สาธารณะที่เป็นมิตรต่อผู้โดยสารมากที่สุด และรั้งอันดับ 3 ในฐานะเมืองที่มีความปลอดภัยที่สุด ขณะที่กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ของมาเลเซีย รั้งท้ายตารางเป็นเมืองที่คนขับรถแท็กซี่มีความเป็นมิตรน้อยที่สุด

“การที่จะเป็นสุดยอดเมืองท่องเที่ยวนั้น ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงเมืองที่มีแหล่งช้อปปิ้งที่ดีที่สุดเท่านั้น แต่ยังคงต้องคำนึงถึงปัจจัยอื่นๆ อาทิ ความสะอาด ความปลอดภัย การคุ้มค่าของค่าใช้จ่ายที่เสียไป ความสะดวกสบายในการเดินทางของระบบขนส่งมวลชน และความเป็นมิตรของคนในท้องถิ่นนั้นๆ ในการให้คะแนน ดังนั้นจึงเป็นเรื่องที่น่ายินดีอย่างยิ่งที่เมืองในทวีปเอเชีย ได้แก่ กรุงโตเกียว กรุงเทพฯ สิงคโปร์ ฮ่องกง และกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้ติดอันดับในการสำรวจความคิดเห็นครั้งนี้ในหลายหัวข้อด้วยกัน” มิส จีน โอ-ยอง ตัวแทนทริปแอดไวเซอร์ กล่าว

สวิตเซอร์แลนด์ครองแชมป์ “สุดยอดดินแดนสะอาด-ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อม 2012” ไทยรั้งที่ 34 ของโลก ชนะขาดสิงคโปร์

เอเจนซีส์/ASTV ผู้จัดการออนไลน์-ผลสำรวจชี้ สวิตเซอร์แลนด์ครองแชมป์สุดยอดดินแดนใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อม-รักความสะอาดของโลกประจำปี 2012 ส่วนประเทศไทยรั้งอันดับ 34 ของโลก และเป็นอันดับ 5 ของเอเชีย ทิ้งห่างสิงคโปร์แบบขาดลอย

รายงานซึ่งอ้างข้อมูลจากผลสำรวจ “Environmental Performance Index”หรือดัชนี “อีพีไอ” ประจำปี 2012 ที่จัดทำขึ้นโดยศูนย์ศึกษากฎหมายและนโยบายสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยเยลและมหาวิทยาลัยโคลัมเบียในสหรัฐฯ ร่วมกับ “เวิลด์ อีโคโนมิก ฟอรัม” ระบุว่า สวิตเซอร์แลนด์ เป็นประเทศที่ได้คะแนนสูงสุดในฐานะของดินแดนที่มีการใส่ใจในความสะอาดและคุณภาพสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืนมากที่สุดในโลกประจำปีนี้ โดยดินแดนแห่งนาฬิกาแห่งนี้ได้คะแนนจากการประเมินทั้งสิ้น 76.69 คะแนน รองลงมา คือ ลัตเวีย(70.37),นอร์เวย์(69.92), ลักเซมเบิร์ก (69.20), คอสตาริกา(69.03), ฝรั่งเศส(69.00), ออสเตรีย(68.92), อิตาลี(68.90), และสหราชอาณาจักรกับสวีเดนที่ได้ 68.82 คะแนนเท่ากัน

ขณะที่สหรัฐอเมริกา ชาติมหาอำนาจอันดับหนึ่งของโลกที่มักมีพฤติกรรมกดดัน และข่มขู่คุกคามประเทศ อื่นๆ ในด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมอยู่เป็นประจำ ถูกจัดให้อยู่ในอันดับที่ 49 ของโลก โดยได้คะแนน 56.59 คะแนน

ในทางกลับกันประเทศที่ถูกระบุว่า มีความสกปรกปนเปื้อน และใส่ใจกับคุณภาพของสิ่งแวดล้อมน้อยที่สุดของโลกในปี 2012 นี้ คือ อิรักซึ่งได้อันดับสุดท้ายที่ 132 และได้คะแนนไปเพียง 25.32 คะแนน รองลงมา คือ เติร์กเมนิสถาน อุซเบกิสถาน คาซัคสถาน แอฟริกาใต้ เยเมน คูเวต อินเดีย บอสเนีย-เฮอร์เซโกวินา ลิเบีย และเอริเทรีย ตามลำดับ

และหากพิจารณาเฉพาะในส่วนของทวีปเอเชียเพียงอย่างเดียวนั้น ญี่ปุ่นซึ่งอยู่ในอันดับที่ 23 ของโลก กลายเป็นดินแดนที่สะอาดและใส่ใจคุณภาพสิ่งแวดล้อมมากที่สุดของเอเชียในปีนี้ โดยได้ 63.36 คะแนน รองลงมา คือ มาเลเซีย( อันดับ25 ของโลก), บรูไน ดารุสซาลาม(อันดับ26 ของโลก) ,ไต้หวัน( อันดับ29 ของโลก), และไทย( อันดับ34 ของโลก)

โดยในส่วนของประเทศไทยซึ่งได้อันดับที่ 34 ของโลกและอันดับที่ 5ของเอเชียนั้น ได้คะแนนไปทั้งสิ้น 59.98 คะแนน ตามหลังกรีซที่ได้ 60.04 คะแนนไปอย่างฉิวเฉียด

ขณะที่สิงคโปร์ ชาติที่เคยประกาศตัวว่า ให้ความสำคัญกับความสะอาดเป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อยของบ้านเมือง มาโดยตลอด กลับได้อันดับที่ 52 ของโลกด้วยคะแนน 56.36 คะแนน ส่วนสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีนที่มีเศรษฐกิจใหญ่เป็นอันดับที่ 2 ของโลกในเวลานี้ ถูกจัดให้เป็นดินแดนที่ใส่ใจความสะอาดและสิ่งแวดล้อมในอันดับที่ 116 ของโลกโดยได้คะแนนเพียง 42.24 คะแนนเท่านั้น จากผลของการทำลายสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างมหาศาลเพื่อทุ่มพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรมในช่วงที่ผ่านมา

Although the aurora borealis can be spotted anywhere between latitudes 65 and 72 degrees, Norwegian towns such as Kirkenes, Tromso, Alta and Svalbard offer ringside seats, especially in the winter.

Sail Norway’s fiord-lined coasts aboard a Hurtigruten cruise ship and the crew will provide wake-up calls when viewing is best.

If snowmobiling and dog sledding under shimmery green curtains of solar particles colliding with atmospheric gases isn't on your bucket list, you just need better gloves.

Weather report: To quote Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.”

Who should avoid: Anyone dead-set on maintaining a year-round suntan.

During May's Golden Week, when everybody flees the city, Japan’s capital is as empty as you'll ever find it.

The city’s 160,000-odd restaurants are practically empty (relatively speaking) and you might even get a bid in at one of the thousand stalls in Tsukiji Central Fish Market.

Carp streamers known as koi nobori are flying, the mountains are a lush green and, by the time everyone returns to the city, you’ll be going the other direction -- to the countryside or Kyoto or Hokkaido, where the cherry blossoms and accompanying hanami parties are just starting to bloom.

June: Seoul



A month of strolling around perfectly groomed lawns? Why not.

Ever since 2009, when Y.E. Yang came from behind to knock out Tiger Woods in the Hazeldine PGA Championship, becoming the first male Asian to win a major (the women have been winning championships since 1998), golfing in South Korea has taken off like a bottle rocket.

With the President’s Cup to be hosted here in 2015 and lots of new, upscale private clubs opening, many that resemble modern art museums, South Korea is becoming a legit golf destination.

Weather report: Mild temperatures and lots of camellias and azaleas.

Who should avoid: Cheapskates. South Korea’s fancy new golf courses require large membership fees.

July: Tanzania and Kenya



A month of photo ops.
Why: To experience the Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the sun-dried landscape of the Serengeti.

In July, you can ditch the crowds in the pristine, rarely visited northern Serengeti and more popular Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Weather report: Dry with pleasant temps, average high of 28C/82F.

Who should avoid: City dwellers who hate the outdoors and/or camping.

August: Quebec City



"For your entertainment, allow me to break my spine."
Why: While it’s roasting in the rest of the northern hemisphere, this 400-year-old city with cobblestone streets, eclectic café culture and nonstop entertainment rings in with perfect temps.

Lots of freebie entertainment from Cirque du Soleil shows (tickets in other cities go for US$100-plus) to fireworks over the St. Lawrence River to the world’s largest movie screen.

Weather report: Mostly sunny with an average 25C/77F.

Who should avoid: Tightwads who dislike tipping -- street performers on every corner pass hats.

September: Cape Town, South Africa



No twist in this tail.
Why: It's naturally beautiful throughout the year, but Cape Town is in prime spring form with flowers sprouting everywhere.

But because it’s technically off-season, air fare and hotel bargains are available for bargain hunters.

Offshore you'll find magnificent right whales in the process of making more magnificent right whales.

Weather report: Temps pleasant with cool evenings.

Who should avoid: Claritin addicts.


October: Munich



Hands up if you like beer.
Why: The ultimate party (6 million takers per year) is in full swing.

Despite its many imitators, the original Bavarian Oktoberfest, where beer isn't classified as alcohol but as a “health drink,” is hard to top.

It's so popular no one wants to wait till October to start; the 2013 event runs from September 21 to October 6.

Men wear lederhosen, women sport boob-accentuating dirndls, oompah bands play and everyone is singing, albeit somewhat poorly.

While you might imagine that playing a prost song every seven minutes (that's the average toasting interval) could lead to a fast descent into chaos, Germans value rules and order and even when tents are canvas-wall-to-canvas-wall, civility prevails.

For those hoping to finance the rest of their year of travel, take note that Oktoberfest workers can earn US$19,000 in 16 days.

Crucial tip: Make a table reservation six months to a year ahead of time -- those who just show up to the party will not be able to find a seat inside any of the tents, and thus won't be served.

Weather report: Temperatures are crisp and cool (about 16C/60F) and Bavaria’s mountains are in their full autumn glory.

November: Sydney
