I think we should complete the thread also with information from this very important country
No, I didn't drink wine in China. Always beer. Although in the big cities wine shops are more and more widespread.

I tasted some wine in northern Thailand, Chiang Mai area. Mmmmm .... still a long way to go....

We could cover the gap speaking about New Zealand (Marlborough area, South Island). I've some pictures at home (Hunters winery), be ready for the stunning scenery!

Well friends, stay tuned, as Godetto's photo are stunning.

I drank chinese wine in Nanjing, chinese people who kindly invited us italian at dinner asked me to choose between european and chinese wine, and obviously I asked to taste something new for me.

To be honest it wasn't the best wine I've ever drank, but I'm anyway curious about what they produce, being sure that they will anyway improve in the future.

Awesome thread. Thanks for sharing!

Let me know if anybody can share and or the format I use is right.

The Priorat in Catalonia is a very old wine region. It primarily produces powerful red wines, which came to international attention in the 1990s. The area is characterized by its unique terroir of black slate and quartz soil known as llicorella. All vineyards are built on terraces on the slopes of the hills.

It is one of only two wine regions in Spain to qualify as DOCa, the highest qualification level for a wine region according to Spanish wine regulations, alongside Rioja DOCa.

Ferrer Bobet winery.

Hi Ribarca, thanks for posting!!

The format of the pictures (at least the first one) is a bit large, it could be better to reduce it to see it better on the screen.

Also, if you want, it would be interesting to have some information about the winery (it looks very beatiful!!), as architect which designed it, opening year a.s.o.

Very good to get info about another wine zone in Spain

Hi philbern, take a look at the first page of the thread, search Italy and Tuscany, there you'll find all wineries near Florence

If you could add infos about wineries in your country it would be very appreciated
