Thanks. Muhammad Bin Qasim's mosque was a new discovery for me too. Here's some more information:

Muhammad Bin Qasim Mosque at Aror Sindh

Alor or Aror is medieval name of city of Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan.

Alor was the ancient capital of Sindh, now modern Rohri adjacent to Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan. In 711 AD Alor was captured by the army of Muslim general Muhammad bin Qasim and in 962.

Later it was hit by a massive earthquake that changed the course of the Indus River

Arab historians used the words Alor, Al-rur, Al-ruhr and Al Ror to describe Alor. The basic meaning being "The Ror" as it’s well known that 'Al' is simply the English word 'The' in Arabic. Both Alor and Aror are incorrect renditions derived from the Arabic translation of the original name which is more like Ror or Rori, i.e., the capital of Rors.

After appointing Governors in all the principal districts of Sindh, Muhammad Bin Qasim left Brahman Abad on 3rd Muharram (AH 711) and proceeded towards Alore where Fofi, the son of Raja Dahir, had fortified his position. Muhammad Bin Qasim called his forces to a halt opposite the fort, where he also built a Mosque, the portion of which still stands on the top of a hill at the very site of Arore.

Few kilometers from this mosque there are masjid & mandir opposite to each other. Masjid there was look newer to me but shrine was an ancient. The name of the shrine was Kalka Cave Temple (right side in the picture) and it is located in a cave. There is no population in surroundings of the shrine.

Babul Islam

Gate from where muhammad bin qasim entered into sindh.

Banbhore excavations have revealed the remains of an ancient town divided into two parts,A fortified citadel and lower part round the lake, situated on the right bank of the gharo creek.once a branch of river indus, the town must have been a port of some significance.its situation has led many a scholar and historian to identifu it with debul. The famous hindu port town conquered by the young arab general muhammad bin qasim in 712 A.C

Excavations carried on here since 1985,have revealed an almost complete cross-section of the mound, revealing three distinct periods of occupation. The carliest people who lived here were scytho-parthians during the first century B.C to second century A.C later on the city was occupoed by the hindus and the buddhists, until the arrival of the muslimms in the early part of the 8th century A.C the city remained under occupations until the 13th century when its importnce diminshed due to the shifting of the course of the river and was gradually deserted. The buildings collapsed and the while city turned into the shape of a huge mound.

Bin Qasim landed in Bhambore? Well I read the area he landed in is about 50 km to the West of Karachi (in current-day Balochistan).
