I wonder how the combination of broad avenues with islands and wide sidewalks , streetlights with continuous numbers of quality high rises with ample surrounding fully grown greeneries will probably look like.
I sincerely hope that the rebirth of Filinvest Corporate City into simply Filinvest City will truly kick off in a major way as maybe in five years time we will see a lot of major high rise or skyscrapers being built and finished simultaneously.
I do wish as well for the other developments in the city to succeed such as Madrigal/ATC/Molito , Lakefront Sucat and Avida South Park District and the Daang Hari -SLEX connecting road to be completed and operational.

Since Filinvest City has more greeneries, hope they build a LEED Certified Building to complement the ambiance of district and to beat Insular Life Center. For Avida South Park District, sana hindi ito crowded at maggtayo ng mini lifestyle center to cater the residents nearby them.

For now, Filinvest should concentrate on it's flagship scraper, The Spectrum.

Molito has it's ups and downs. Puregold is not doing that well due to the number of supermarkets within that area.

Other restaurants within Molito are also not doing well especially with the high rent. Omakase is still the most successful in that area.

I know its crazy, you walk by all these empty restaurants in a row then heres Omakase running in full capacity - that theres actually a line in the waiting area

Simply because Omakase has loyal patrons already wayback on their former location .
I find it nice though the new lifestyle strip of Molito , is the pocket park already done ?

I like Molito since Gold's is there and it's easier to park, they use a lot of lights as well. However if all the restaurants in Molito get popular, I'm sure parking would be a problem as well.

The presence of Gold's, Puregold and Omakase is what keeps Molito going at this point.

Westgate on the other hand is not doing well the fact many restaurants have already closed down including Max Brenner, etc.

What about the upcoming phase 2 of Commerce Center near Mondrian and Parque Espana ? has it opened already ?..it looks promising sort of a mini-mall. I hope it succeeds .
I read Filinvest has plans for redeveloping WestGate & South Station .

The problem with Westgate is that there is really no compelling reason for anyone to decide going there instead of ATC (unless you want to visit a car dealership or shop for groceries in S&R). Even Molito is more compelling only because of known restaurants like Omakase and Uncle Cheffy's and its apparent closer proximity to ATC. Westgate Hub can remedy the lack of reasons to go to Westgate... But that would ultimately depend on the tenants they get.

It is the presence of Fitness First, S&R and Fun Ranch that is keeping Westgate at the moment.

Looking forward to see what Westgate Hub will offer.

Ayala Hotel Rebranded
By Jenniffer B. Austria

Property giant Ayala Land Inc. aims to build 665 hotel rooms under its rebranded hotel brand Seda by the end of 2013. Ayala renamed its Kukun hotel brand as Seda.

Ayala Land Hotels and Resorts president Al Legaspi said Seda is an urban lifestyle hotel brand envisioned to offer the traveler the advantages of location, excellent service and great value.

The first hotel, Seda Bonifacio Global City, has 179 rooms and is located near Bonifacio High Street and Serendra. It is within easy access of restaurants, retail shops and the emerging business district.

The second Seda hotel in Cagayan de Oro is also slated for opening before the end of the year. The 150-room hotel is situated within Centrio, a mixed-use development of Ayala Land.

Meanwhile, Seda in Davao City will open in the first quarter of 2013 while Seda in Nuvali, Alabang is slated for opening by the last quarter of 2013.

Legaspi said Seda was conceptualized to capture opportunities presented by the booming tourism industry.

“There is such tremendous opportunity in the country’s flourishing foreign and domestic tourist industries. Our Seda hotel line is well positioned to capture more than its fair market share across various regions with our superior product and strategic location within Ayala Land’s mixed-use developments,” Legaspi said.

a few questions

i know this is a muntinlupa thread but someone here might know the answer/s to the ff. questions:

a. what's going to be built on the old BOIE property corner of daang hari and alabang zapote road.
b. has the goodyear property along alabang zapote been bought by any developer?
c. any idea if there's some kind of development going on right after the gate of sonera/southvale (still along daang hari) i noticed a wide road that's paved. not sure if it's just for the MDC construction vehicles.

A & B are located in Las Pinas. I hope Megaworld will buy the property. Megaworld has no projects yet at this side of the Metro, AFAIK.
