hay vegetacion en Antartica, me ha interesado mucho tambien por los posibilidades de recursos naturales que puedan haber alla.

Ahy tambien se ve las auroras alla bajo. Posteare fotos de las auroras pronto que he tomado aka en Alaska, que es bien parecida a la Antartica en su esenarion natural.

Definitivamente es un lugar increíble, lo que mas me ha impresionado es que crece y se achica dependiendo de las estaciones del año, dicen en el verano, el continente antártico tiene una superficie de 14 millones de km², en el invierno, el mar adyacente se congela, dando lugar a una banquisa, y su superficie aumenta hasta los 30 millones de km2, osea mas del doble que en verano. Por eso le dicen "Continente Pulsante".
Para mi es algo increíble...una maravilla de la naturaleza

, este continente ademas aparte de esto, cada ano aumenta su tamano, aunque sea invierno o verano, esta aunmentada, a diferencia de su herrmano el cual se reduce significativamente.

La Antártida se convirtió, en los últimos 20 años, en un destino turístico premium. A la zona llegan viajeros de todo el mundo atraídos por el pingüino emperador, los glaciares y la impetuosa necesidad de una vivencia extrema. De acuerdo a las cifras elaboradas por la Asociación Internacional de Operadores de Turismo Antártico (Iaato, su sigla en inglés) arribaron en la temporada 2008-2009, más de 46 mil turistas a bordo de cruceros que pueden albergar a más de dos mil personas. Pero tanta devoción pareciera atentar contra su ecosistema.
