I want the height restrictions in Cape town changed to we can see buildings of 600ft(180m) + going up. But this will do for now.

On a real note, lets create a hip hop debate thread, im interested in getting involved in that, whilst trying to stay on topic, ...sorry to say this, really loving the fact that postsides here and all, but in all honesty, cant see that glass exterior working well.

the tint is just too bottle greeny u know, i think even with a lighter tint, it could even make a difference, just dont think a structure of that size with that tint works well for its environment, i dunno maybe its just me, well have to see when the things completed

Think it may just look a bit greenish in Andrew_za's pic. In real life it's actually a gorgeous bluish tint.

I've walked around the building in all lights and weather conditions and it varies from greyish to blue grey and sometimes a beautiful transparent strong blue but never green... The original renders of Portside 1 had a greenish blue tint and that also looked fantastic.. The only colours I dont like in glass are the browns and golds....
Talking of which, tho not Portside, the glass used in 22 Bree is a very dark blue... unlike the renders where it looked almost milky white...I took some more pics of that earlier and will put them up ..

The glass only seems green in pictures, and on the webcam. Thankfully like city said, it's actually blue. Best to wait until we see a larger glass curtain.
I really want to see some lighting

The glass is definitely very blue in person...quite a bit bluer than the latest render suggests, which is also quite a light milky blue. Will be interesting seeing the effect as the tower rises.

While driving out cape town last night I noticed that Portside actually fills up a gap in the skyline, if you're looking from the highway.
