Ahmadinejad opens Qom cement factory

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has inaugurated a cement factory in Iran's central Province of Qom with the annual production capacity of one million tons.


Neizar cement factory, which was launched in the presence of President Ahmadinejad and Iran's Minister of Road and Urban Development Ali Nikzad on Monday, has been set up at a cost of USD 145 million.

The factory is expected to create more than 200 direct and 3,000 indirect job opportunities.

Meanwhile, the Iranian president also launched 5,830 residential units in Qom province.

Earlier in August, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari said Ian's annual capacity of cement production would surpass 80 million tons by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (on March 21) by launching new cement factories in the country.

Ghazanfari put the country's cement production at 74 million tons.

we need more of these type of developments, they create more jobs but also create a more efficient country, imagine , hypothetically, if a country would have no waste (garbage) and reused it all, that is very powerful, and very clean

How is now in Iran?
In Europe I like the system, was very efficient.

We had to separate.

1. PMD (Plastic, Metal and drinks)
First all bottles were washed and then we put them in a seperate garbage bag.

2. Glasses

3. Green plants and tree''s (Like christmas trees, plants or leaves)

4. rest of garbages

5. papers were also in separate bag
6. Also electronics and lamps were separated.


For each of the bags, the machine comes in a different day (calendar will be delivered to all residence).
Glass and PMD: once every two weeks.
Paper: once every month.
Rest: Once per week.
Batteries, lamp,: people need to deliver to them to an special offices.

This was really useful system, it was very clean, PMD and Glasses (shisheh rob gojeh farangi), if people wash them before, then all garbage bag is clean.

I really hope we in Iran having such a system.

Howver, in USA in my state we mix it all :s
