By chance, does anyone know what sort of thickness and oil content the Asphalt concrete the expressway surfaces use? 50 mm? 5% oil content? What type? AC 150/200 or something else?

10 Km of Azadegan Exp from North of Fath Expressway to Kan River Bridge and 3of its grade-seperated junctions will be openned by Ghalibaf on Monday.

azadegan (10 km of it) got opened
why dont they plan trees in the middle??? ![]() even 1 deciduous tree every 10 m is fine |

b/c then you'd have to water it/take care of it. It's a headache when you don't have the budget. I rather they focus on the highway itself cuz half the time they can't even do that right.

they can use chemical nutritiin that requires feeding once a year or so
or something in the line at least they should plant seeds in soil maybe the trees would grow , i mean, it not like they water the rest of tehran, but most native trees are resistant to lack of water but ofcourse, cost is an issue aswell |

The expressway is new. Maybe they do it later when they finish the other parts
Or maybe it can be because of safety issues. How would the person go in the middle to water the trees? and cars may hit the tree. The roots of the tree may weaken the foundation of the road. |
