Plot distribution process begins for ‘M’ Block

East West Property Development (Pvt) Ltd (EWPDL), a concern of Bashundhara Group, started distribution process of its 1,100 plots under its Bashundhara Mouchak Project-2 among the owners.

The plot selection programme started through lottery at Bashundhara Convention Center-2 on Sunday morning.

Some 600 plots of three katha and 500 of five katha were distributed with its plot number among the owners.

Humayun Kabir Khan, adviser of Bashundhara Group, was present in the programme as chief guest while Media Adviser Mohammad Abu Tayeb, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of EWPDL Towhidul Islam, Engineer

Abul Kalam Shamim of EWPDL, Senior Executive Director of Bashundhara Group Bidyut Kumar Bhowmik, Liyakot Hossain, Executive Director of Bashundhara Group Touhidul Islam and Senior Executive Director of East West Media Group Brig Gen (Retd) Sheikh Ahmed Muktadir Arif, among others, attended the programme.

Addressing the programme, Humayun Kabir said housing crisis in Bangladesh is one of the major problems as the country is densely populated compared to its land space. Bashundhara Group is playing a pivotal role since its inception in solving the housing problem.

“We have been able to solve the problems to a great extent by providing the land to people with a low cost,” he said, adding that Bashundhara Group is the largest business conglomerate of the country.

Speaking as special guest, Abul Kalam Shamim said Bashundhara Group chairman started this project to provide land among people with nominal cost to solve the country’s housing problem. Since then this group has been playing a significant role in this sector with good mission and vision, he said.

He also said Bashundhara Mouchak Project-2 is like a river view project and its natural’s beauty is better than other projects.

“I am really very happy to receive the plot number through lottery. I was very anxious about my plot thinking whether I will get it or not,” said Golam Mostafa who received a three katha plot located in “M Block” and the number of his plot is 1168.

He also said, “This is a good example of plot distribution among the owners as no other housing company is following this sort of good practice.”

true..but the ANZ Huq Square is at Banani road 11 and this commercial tower they said will be built right opposite to the "Sobhanbagh Masjid" on Mirpur Road

Sorry, I meant ANZ Square. The Banani ANZ building is ANZ Huq Eleven Square.

The ANZ Square is supposed to be built by the side of Satmasjid Road in Dhanmondi I believe

Rd 3, Hse 53. So the project you posted just resembles ANZ Square.

Doreen Suites was always going to be a serviced apartment by Doreen Group. We were talking before about Doreen Tower becoming an international hotel (Luxury Collection, Westin, Le Meridien 2 or Courtyard Marriott being some possibilities)
