If registering of cases alone is a yardstick Kerala has the maximum number of cases registered. But its hardly the case Kerala is a less safe state than other states. In a state like Kerala where literacy is 100 % or close to it, most crimes get registered and police also register crimes. In a lot of other states, crimes dont get registered because there is pressure from on top to keep crime rates low and social issues. If cases don't get registered it doesn't mean crimes are less. As far as safety is concerned, Gujarat and TN are two states where law and order is pretty good, esp Gujarat. Even people from other states in Gujarat tend to vouch for it. Even late at night you can see women moving about in Ahmedabad, which in most other states esp Delhi/NCR is just Wherever police register crimes, crimes will always be higher. It defies logic if Up has less crimes than Kerala, given the disparity in population. The fact also is that only if people have confidence in the police and register their complaints, can the registered crimes go up. People obviously trust their police more in Kerala and less in other states. Crime statistics in India are misleading.

Yaar People arrested today in the rape case are from UP and Bihar.....what to say about that...UP people are nice but the lower n lower middle class of UP is just pathetic.....just pathetic....Most cases registered in delhi are against UPites and Bihari's ..


I again say that its lower n lower middle class people more involved in all these....may it be meerut, Kanpur , Barriely or Muzzafarpur etc etc

Prolly UP has flair for parallel cinema. I was thinking of commercial cinema, which I am more comfortable with. Nevertheless thanks, I never knew Aamir traces his roots to UP.

I have noticed that too. Those people come from a very closed society. And Delhi is not that but is still a bit relaxed place and these ppl get their panties in a twist with jealousy. Same shit happened here I read it online TOI. The girl was with her guy friend and these jealous biharis asked her what she was doing late out night with a guy. And they think that gives them license to do what ever with her. Education and modernization of all of us is the key

In my City in Haryana we are getting a lot of influx of people from Bihar and UP. Ofcourse Crime has gone up a lot.
Before it use to be usual boys fight(like punjabi's usually do)
but now its murders in night.
They look for a target and find him alone and kill him, not to say the way they kill people.

Justice will be served but people of Delhi should make sure that what kind of action government/police is going to take to stop this kind of hideous crimes. I hope this fire in Delhites remain for long time to demand justice.

We need to keep check on these bihari's and UP wala's( lower category one's) first...they are becoming menace for the city....Its unfortunate for delhi to share borders with them....ehhhrrr
