I really like the last photo: it shows Paris is not only a "living museum" (even Dali seems surprised at what he is seeing!), as well as the difference in scale between the old Halles (rather dated) and the future ones.

The canopée might be a nice improvement, but in detail it could be from the ´70´s.

So far, I'm quite skeptical as well (to say the least), but that's maybe too premature to judge objectively. Therefore, let's wait for the final result.

I'm not sure how to feel about this project either. The idea of having a big colorful structure is tempting and the color looks great in the rendering, but that's not the case of the actual samples. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a disaster.
