I have updated my diagram, it was made based on the ammount of floors seen in the latest pics, so perfect accuracy isn't guaranteed. If anybody has more accurate info, please lemme know

Current height of Lotte Tower is approximately 155 meters or 509 feet
Current height of Federation Hall is approximately 233 meters or 764 feet

Damn. I remember playing SimCity 3000, in which the DLI 63 Building was depicted as a really tall one, dwarfing all but the highest growable commercial buildings and a few of the placeable landmarks. I grew up considering that one to be a really tall skyscraper. Seeing that diagram really makes me realise how mind-bogglingly huge the Lotte World Tower is.

Was actually sitting here playing SC3000 this christmas and built DLI 63 Building!

Now it could be well around 155 meters. Can't believe it, but the tower is now the tallest building around the area of Jamsil.

It must be averaging a floor a week at the moment. I was there in late September and they were at level 20 then. So 12 floors in 3 months....

I was there in late september as well. I'm still looking at those pics I took by that time and I compare them with what it has been achieved now.. just mind blowing.

Will Lotte World tower be in the city center? Or is it outside city center in Seoul?

Not really in the center, it's in the Songpa district or the greater Gangnam district in south-east Seoul. The district has the most residents but the current highest towers are not higher than 150m in.
