A must have. Where else can you dry wet clothes?

I don't really mind having a balcony. I prefer the unimpeded view of floor-to-ceiling triple-glazed windows. Balconies also increase shadow areas withing the room, unless you are living on the top floor.

A balcony is not much, unless it is as spacious as an azotea or roof deck.

In many modern skyscrapers, the use of generic/boring balconies also ruin the facade/architecture.

Barring an azotea or roof deck, a french window will do.

It is very important for me, it is a must. No matter if it is a big one or a small French balcony.

I can't imagine living in a apartment without a balcony. Sometimes I need fresh air and I don't want to sit in a park (and opening a window doesn't get this feeling of wind) so a balcony is the only solution.

That just won't do for me. Just incomparable to a balcony.

It's a must have for me. It's where I always go every morning when I wake up to get fresh view of the skyline, feel the cool breeze, do a bit of stretching, and more. ehehehe....

^ yeah, one good way to use a balcony is to check what kind of clothing you need to wear today.

Must have in an apartment. If you have a private house with a garden, then it's not necessary.
I'm a smoker so at least I can smoke on the balcony and not stink up the apartment. Also great for getting some air, checking what to wear, doing work that you can't do inside because of fumes (painting, spraying) or mess, drying clothes etc. I could live without it but I wouldn't want to.
