It's not the size, it's how you use it!

It's been confirmed today that this will be 40 storeys, and a planning application will be submitted in the next couple of months.

This has now been officially submitted as a 40-storey tower. The project is to be called 100 Bishopsgate and will feature a huge library, apparently. There's a rendering in Estates Gazette, but I'm not subscribed to it.

Well, the site footprint is L-shaped, and the tower will be slightly "twisted"... that's about all I know.

Hmmm.... I take it its the one in the middle and that's Heron on the right?

Bit hard to tell from the render, but it looks a bit like Minerva would have done from some angles... Not a bad thing, as long as the cladding's top notch.

Judgement reserved for now!

I've enlarged it -

SkyscraperNews.com lists the height as 165m, but it looks much taller in my opinion! (bearing in mind that Heron Tower, on the right, is over 200m).

I'll wait for better pictures to judge it,but it doesn't seem it will add too much to the city...
