If I had my own house then I would want a decent garden with it. But if it was a high-rise apartment then just a balcony.

With a house, I do want to have some green, some real grass, but I don't want to mow the lawn. A large park nearby is nice, perfect if it is right across the road.

My ideal morning is, when I wake up, I look out the window or out my balcony, and I see a beautiful green lawn.

our medium-rise building is built right next to a small park

the rooftop has also has a garden with all sorts of potted herbs (oregano, mint, rosemary, etc.) which all tenants can use for cooking

Rooftop gardens or terraces can be pretty cool. Do you also have a roof terrace?

Good for your own private barbecue, but too much work here in North Texas due to the heat and drought IMO.
