Actually it makes sense, if the infrastructure law is implemented by the MP's whom the kurds are a part of, they are obviously going to want some benefit from it.
In other words.. The defenition of parasitism: A symbiotic relationship in which one organism (the parasite) benefits and the other (the host) is generally harmed. Parasites derive nutrition from their host and may also gain other benefits such as shelter and a habitat in which to grow and reproduce. Cant get more accurate then that.

this will simply be allocated out of the "federal" budget and will thus be truncated out of the "regional" budget, it won't make a net difference to the amount of money sent to kurdistan since Iraq will either give this as money to the kurds or in making infrastructure projects... but it would come out of the kurds other budget items. so no net difference either way.
the above is simply a small detail... the good thing now is that Iraq is truncating the cost of kurdish oil exports at source from the kurdish budget... and since the kurds sell the oil at a discounted rate, pay a lot for the shipping (by truck) and then give 50% of the remainder to the foreign oil company... they will get a nice haircut. |

The question remains. Why aren't we just cutting their budget completely. Maybe not to start a war? Because sooner or later they'll have a pipeline to Turkey exporting 1 million of barrels a day.

Did you forget what Barzani said in an interview?, that he will resolve to war if they cut the budget. I mean if thats not dictatorship words then what bloody is?
Can somebody on this forum who loves the KRG government please explain this? despite the fact there are some blind individuals that will agree with everything a government says and does.

Peshmerga does not have the capabilty to fight war against Iraq lets not even talk about funding a war without Iraqs support.
He is probably trying to suck off iraqs oil as long as possible before his independence, I don’t know what his plan is with the disputed territories though, its clear article 140 is not going to be implemented |

Wallah I'm suprised with some Kurds and Iraqis on how they worship their governments and how they always seem to back them up whenever they seize the oppertunity to do so. And I thought their human counterparts in America and the UK where bad enough.
