yeah i know that ila na naapil sa ilang press release, but we dont kung unsa ang update as of now kay supposedly by this time mag start na sila ug sourcing for human resources just like the EXL Holdings, Inc. Pero morag wag kisaw not even a single ad....Of course we hope they will push through since AMEX will further give a cap to Cebu's feather as far as the BPO Industry is concerned. More and more BPO players locating in Cebu will improve chances of Cebu earning a higher place in the Tholons...

Murag Baguio, pero no offense sa Baguio, this is something the gov't should look into soon. BTW are those lots legally owned or are these houses IS?
If I remember right, kung striktohon, lahi man ug classification ang mga yuta nga ingana ka bakilid? Nanginahanglan na gyud ta ug public housing nga high rise. Otherwise, imbis nindot kaayo tanawn ang green hills, ma lukop na unya ni mga balay.

Dili baya gyud na ingana ka traffic ang Salinas just a few years back. Duyog ra ba gyud ni sa developments sa IT Park mao nang kung unsa kapaspas ang development sa IT Park which meant bringing a substantially more dense number of people in the area to fill all those buildings and offices, mao pod unta ka paspas ang atong ciudad sa pagpangita ug solusyon.
Dili baya lisod ianalyze. Dili ka makaingon nga wala damha. It was VERY PREDICTABLE. Dinhi makita na pod nimo ug unsa ta kahuyang sa matang sa pagplano ug pagimplementar aning mga planoha. This also shows the GREAT DISPARITY between the rate at which our government and our private sectors are moving. Mas abtik ang pikas tiil. Kuyaw ta malamba ug mapandol. Hain na man tong BRT intawn? Zzzzzzzzzz. Pastilan! My only hope is mauna pa ug provide ug solusyon ang IT Park ani by providing buses for example. Kaso lang, this will still need the support of the LGU especially in rerouting and traffic flow schemes.

since road expansion is very unlikely and not doable at this point in time, do u think rerouting would work?

Road expansion can only accommodate how much more volume of traffic?
It's still very short term. What we badly need is a reliable mass public transport solution. I don't know what they're waiting for (PNoy et al.). I wonder when the next transport study will start. And another after that, and another....and another....and another. As far as I know (and I know so little about this field) transport studies have a "best before" or probably only "good info to use until", because information gathered from 3 to 5 years back may be ill-adapted for a project we will start today. If this BRT dragged on for too much, even with projections, it would have to rely on data that is getting older, hence more inaccurate with time. They might need to study again and loan more hundreds of millions. And yet nothing gets done. Wasteful and inefficient. That's how we are. Sorry for being so rant-y today. It must be the foggy weather here. Taas akong panlantaw para sa Sugbo kung ang pribado nga sector lang atoang tanawn. Ang akong gikabalak-an ang sa kalidad ug direksyon sa atoang politikal nga liderato. IMO, Cebu has been mired in too much politics lately that a lot of things are stalling.

BRT project can be a very very good source of campaign material for LP...Sorry, for injecting politics but technicalities about BRT has been done and proven to be OK and the way i see it now, it's all about politics.
So, i still cannot avoid thinking that politics is the big reason of BRT deferment. Take the case of MCIA T2, technically CebPac and San Miguel cannot join the bidding, since both own CebuPac and PAL respectively...But recent news stated that they were allowed to join the bidding but DOTC will change the rules just to accommodate CebPac and San Miguel... ![]() Ingon pa's mga Tagalog: Kung ayaw maraming dahilan...Kung gusto, maraming paraan...
