Kelowna - Canada
Here's Kelowna, British Columbia, one of Canada's newest up and coming cities. A growing resort and vacation town in eastern British Columbia, 400 km from Vancouver, downtown Kelowna's skyline may be reshaping up as a couple of major projects might make the skyline even larger. The only other thing I know is that it is a popular resort town and has the Prospera Place, 6,000 seat arena popular in B.C.
Discovery Pointe Resort (I believe this is under construction even as we speak) [ Park Place (also under construction) [ Pandosy Landing Development (condo, apartment, hotel waterfront complex) worth $250 million, tallest building would be 28 stories. [ ==> pictures are no longer visible !! <==

I love the look of the city in those rocky mountains there. The skyline is small right now, but looks like a beautiful resort town.
8/10. But all those developments are completed, I would give it a 9 or a 10!

^ I left out the populations for the city and metro. The city has over 100,000 and the metro is over 150,000.

This town reminds me of one of the many Valley Towns you see here in California!
BC Reminds me a lot of Cali! |

6/10 Pretty little town or is it mostly a resort. Some interesting buildings for its size. I can't believe that people are swimming in the water. Isn't it freezing cold even in the summer?

Wow! Nice 'little' town. I'd never even heard of it up to now. Thanks for the introduction. I'll give it a 6.5/10, mainly for some of its future projects.

Looks like a nice little place and glad to see it's growing and there are few proposals, but at the moment I can't give it much for that skyline.

Ya Know what.... i live in kelowna, as you can see, and its skyline i admit is nothing special at all, but i mean in the next 10 years or so, the skyline will have changed alot. So at the moment i'd say its a 6/10 but will get better, hopefully

^ I'm certainly looking forward to the finished product. Not only that, Kelowna is growing pretty good right now.

I like Kelowna. Even though the skyline right now is small, it will look pretty nice in the future with the new projects. Its fun being able to visit there just about every other year and seeing the changes 2 years bring.
But Kelowna isn't in the Rockies, different mountain range... And the water isn't that cold. I assure you that it is quite swim-able, although I've never much enjoyed it myself. Actually the thing I most remember from the last time is the formidable stench of pot around our motel... So I will give Kelowna a 7/10 for what it will look like in the near future...

^ Indeed. In fact we were in Kelowna a few years ago right before the forest fires (the week before, the fires started only a few days after leaving). It was over 40C the whole time we were there and one day it got up to 45C.
