City population: 526 920 Urban area population: 811 688 City area : 454 sqkm Oslo is the capital, and the largest city in Norway. Oslo was founded by the Norwegian viking king Harald Hardråde in 1048. In 1624 the city burned down after a fire. The city was rebuilt, on the other side of the river, and was named Christiania, later Kristiania. Wea, there is hard to gett a good skyline image, but in downtown Oslo, there is many skyscrapers, in Oslo there is about 115 High-rise buildings, two over 100m.

There was plann for many High-rise buildings arount Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel, but it is now cancelled, just two on 16 floor did get approved.

well the city is the coolest scandinavic city i've seen..... anywhays the skyline doesn't help...6/10

Very good photos Nightstar77, the photo who was taken of Oslo Plaza and Porthuset was very good, and the photo from Helsfyr was great, a good photo because of there were so many High-rise buildings there, tht they was not so beautiful exept Helsfyr Panorama.

City population: 519 000 City area : 454 sqkm, 295 of them are forest! ![]() Metro population: 1 005 000 And some more pics i took today ![]()
