That's just the different angle of the reflection. Looks like the same to me.

A few more Skytower shots from today. Starting with it just peeking over the Royal on the Park.

Much more visible through the gap.

Starting to make its presence felt on Edward Street.

And when looking down Margaret Street.

A few closer shots to finish.

I'm starting to think this glass has a transparency "sweet spot" – an angle you view it at where it appears much less reflective and much more transparent. In this view, it's the glass just to the right of the balcony that is at the angle.

Great pics, the glass is a strange hybrid of say Abian mixed with Infinity.

I think for photographic purposes, it's going to be a looker, I mean you can tell already, if you extrapolate that effect 89 storeys up, even taking into account white blinds, it's still going to photograph great.

Is there still going to be hotel/retail to either side of the podium or has that changed?

It's hard to see where it's going to go.

There is retail going in on the ground floor cross link that connects to Mary Lane on the other side of the block. The rest of the ground floor is going to be split in to three separate entrance lobbies for the apartments/serviced apartments.

Walking past today, it struck me that the cladding might be somewhat similar to the Suncorp renno tower. Very blue, somewhat reflective, but also transparent from certain angles..

I think it looks pretty good! I mean considering how often we totally balls up the facade in Brisbane* this is a solid 7 or 8, which is really a 9 for us.

*excluding Abian and 1111111111 Eagle Street.
