What are you thankful for Chicagoland this year

Well with the Holiday's, if the city or metro was someone close to you, would would you tell them that you are thankful for:

For me it is the following:
Thanks for having the biggest building boom I will ever see in my lifetime. Trump Tower, Lasalle,Waterview, Aqua, Chicago Spire, etc. WOW, thank you thank you thank you for continuing to go upward with beutiful buildings.

Thanks for having the world's best restaraunts, just a few of my favorite things, L wood Pine and Tap-Lincolnwood, Mr Beef-Dowtown and on Harlem, Rosebud-Several locations, Pizzeria Uno and Mr. Lou

Thanks for giving us such a wonderful downtown, think how much downtown has changed in the last 10 years. Mill Park, a thousand new restaraunts, south loop, Mag mile getting even more magnificent, Streeterville.

Thanks for the metra! I know a lot of people not happy with RTA, but I take the metra a lot and have had only good things to say. I get downtown in less than an hour from Aurora. So much better then driving on 88 traffice and then 290 traffic.

As I always say, except for the weather, I would not live anywhere else. I have lived all over the state, lived in Texas, lived in the city, suburbs, now settled down in far west suburban Sugar Grove and I really believe that the Chicago city and metro area has so much to offer that many people who have lived here their whole lives may take for granted.

I'm thankful that when I finish my time here in the kick-ass city of New York, I can hopefully move to another kick-ass city but pay about half the cost of living.
