Wrath of the sky

Unbelievable hail storm hit poor Kazanlak last week. My father said it was literally the size of an egg. A lot of material damage and one person even died after being stricken in the head. :shake:

Probably a stupid question but does Kazanluk have to do anything with kazan?

Also, great town, and the fact that it produces AK's makes it even better.

When i think about Kazanluk 3 things come into my mind ...

1. The fields of roses

2. Kremona guitar factory and my first Bass Guitar which i went with the train to buy from Kazanluk at the age of 16

3. Two great guys that used to be fina arts students in VT in late 90-ies and early 2000-ies Their nicknames were Kukuto & Bahura

Speaking of Turkish names, I think we have to start a campaign for renaming some cities in Bulgaria. For example, Burgas, Kardjali. Let's not forget Musala, the highest peak on the Balkans. It is not acceptable to have such an ugly names for important places in Bulgaria! What do you think? Do we have some "Ataka" supporters in here?

I don't see that much of a problem with Turkish names
They've already changed a lot of names after the liberation, I think they've done enough. Then we've had to change some of the commies' BS. What kind of idiots would name Varna "stalin". honestly
Besides, Kazanlak as a city was founded by the Turks. There were many settlements around it, but it wasn't the city proper.

I do agree on one thing, having the whole Balkans' highest peak named "mount allah" makes me feel queasy, especially since it makes no sense
