Does the Michigan Avenue Bridge provide the greatest street-level view in the world?

Now that we have (hopefully) come to a consensus that the Chicago River is the most unique urban river in the world (great post, Edsg), I want to get even more specific here.

No street-level location in the world IMO, can match the 360 degree skyscraper panorama you get when you stand at the middle of the Michigan Avenue Bridge (especially on the west side of the bridge), with Marina City, IBM, Trump, Wrigley, and the Trib Tower on one side and the Wacker Drive wall of buildings on the other.

While there are street-scenes in this world like Times Square that are busier than the bridge and offer more visual stimulation closer to the ground, there is no one spot that offers such a grand skyscraper feast while simply strolling down the street.

I certainly agree, but I get the same feel in Times Square too. I havent been to anywhere else that matches those 2 places.

let me add this too....

Bah. The eastward view from that vantage is full of mediocre, unremarkable buildings. I think any of several central park locations takes the cake for 360º street level skyscraper views.

I agree as well.

Standing on Dearborn and Madison will give you a better 360 skyscraper view than the Michigan Ave bridge.

Well, you could pick a lot of points along the river, but yeah, the view from the mich ave bridge is awesome.
