Yea but native to Kuwait, what does that mean.

It is a creation in the 60’s for British interests just like not including Lebanon with Syria, probably because of Beirut’s important ports.

They're not bedouin areas. They're tribal areas yes (in comparison to actual Syria) which makes sense since they are Iraqis pretty much. Plus that's a huge part of upper Mesopotamia right there.... contains many old Mesopotamian settlements and cities not to mention Christian villages/areas and historical ruins etc.

What is Iraq? Iraq is Tigris and Euphrates. That's basically like a third of our Euphrates missing, stolen from us, in Eastern Syria. So there's the whole Euphrates area too with palm tree forests and rivers and plenty of towns and cities etc. It's basically Iraqi landscape; which naturally we love.

It's a rich region in terms of its historical significance; cultural too I guess. What could be more important? Not to mention the 2-3 million Iraqis there. (Unfortunately trapped with a Syrian identity)

We have enough oil and resources in the current Iraq, why do we need more? What else... mountains? Not important to me.

I had that in mind. Mass deportation to the desert of anbar. Finally the empty desert can be used for something more productive.

yem3awdeen, we can't even organise a piss up in a brewery and you're talking about what to conquer next. Lets sort out this mess of a country first (minus Kurdistan) and then we'll go all Sennacherib on Syria.

Sure, go ahead and do that, just don't include me in your great Arab nation

Btw, how did it go last time someone tried to do something like this?

Exactly.

Turkey is bad, Syria is bad, Iraq is bad, the Arab world is bad etc. What is left then? Iran? Or a Shabak country of its own? Why not join your cousins - the Kurds then? I heard that large parts of the Shabaks consider them Kurdish already.

Anyway why not bother improving Iraq as it is today?

Maybe it will one day slightly resemble any past great civilizations that once had the modern-day territory of Iraq as their homeland.

I confess that I regret saying I want to segregate Iraq.
