Federal Land Prepares Next Shopping Destination
by Manila Bulletin | Monday | February 11, 2013, 3:42pm

Bluebay Walk

An upscale commercial strip designed to be pedestrian-friendly – with landscaped gardens, trees, and of course, the sea breeze – will be the latest development that will rise in Metro Park, a community developed by Federal Land at the junction of Roxas Blvd and EDSA. Not so many years ago, Metro Park was just an empty land. Today, after many structures were constructed to follow the vision of Federal Land, the property has been transformed into a vibrant district that blends residential, commercial and leisure structures.

Metro Park is now home to many development projects catering to diverse markets such as the residential complexes of Bay Garden, Bay Garden Club & Residences, and SixSenses Resort; a cultural destination that will be the GT Museum; the events venue known as Le Pavillon and Le Parc, and many fascinating places to visit. Bluebay Walk is expected to add attraction and prestige to the complex.

The concept of Bluebay Walk takes advantage of the development’s natural surroundings and beautiful vista. Low modern buildings will blend with landscaped gardens and trees that will sway in the cool breeze from the Manila Bay. Pedestrian-friendly walkways will be ideal for window-shopping and strolling. A huge garden filled with grass and ornamental plants will be refreshing for the eyes. At the centerpiece will stand a grand fountain structure that can only invite people to enjoy some quiet time.

The new urban complex will sprawl on a 1.3-hectare property, offering retail space that will house high-end luxury brands and international names. It is envisioned to be a major shopping, dining and leisure destination. Bluebay Walk will also serve as an anchor connecting the prime establishments in Metro Park. A network of bridgeways will link it to SixSenses Resort, Bay Garden Club and Residences and Blue Wave Mall. The parking area can accommodate as many as 600 cars at a time.

Metro Park is a 36-hectare master planned community in the Bay Area CBD. It sits at a crossroads of the city and is flanked by some of the most popular entertainment sites and tourists destinations in the country such as PAGCOR City, Heritage Hotel and Casino, Hyatt Manila and Casino, Midas Hotel and Radisson Blue Hotel. It is also marked by major metropolitan thoroughfares: EDSA, Roxas Boulevard, Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue and Macapagal Avenue, making it conveniently within reach to and from the NAIA, Makati CBD and Manila.

Federal Land, Inc. is one of the leading real estate developers in the country and the property development arm of GT Capital Holdings, Inc.

The residential elements here have already been launched a long time ago. They are Six Senses and Bay Garden.
