Another bidder emerges
I'm surprised this story hasn't been put up yet-

http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.u...nance_is_paid/ I would have rather had some private company or organisation take over the Odeon imo.

I went to Harrogate on Saturday to see Robert Cray in front of a capacity 1000 audience. Certainly Bradford has nowhere to put on that sort of "known" but not "popular" artist. No way would they play in St Georges Hall over a Leeds venue. |

Would be made up if Bradford Live got the all clear to make it a music venue.

Been following BradfordOne on twitter recently, bit of an update after I enquired...
"@BradfordOne: @T0M_LUFC Our architects are drawing up the visuals right now and we will be releasing them soon. Timescales should be released soon too :-)" |

Bradford City Council has bought the former Odeon for £1: http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.u...Odeon_for___1/
Really someone needs to step up to the plate and propose a new use for the Odeon if it is to be saved as I can't trust Bradford Council who would most likely have no idea as to how to restore this landmark building. |
