हटाई जाएगी दीघा-आशियाना रोड के पश्चिम में बसी आबादी
पार्क, खेल के मैदान, स्कूल, स्वास्थ्य केंद्र सहित कई प्रकार की रहेगी सुविधापाटलिपुत्र स्टेशन के पास बनेगा बस स्टैंड


दीघा-आशियाना रोड से पाटलिपुत्र स्टेशन को चौड़ी सड़क से जोड़ जाएगा। पाटलिपुत्र स्टेशन की तरफ वाले भाग में बस स्टैंड बनाने की योजना है। स्टेशन के पास बस स्टैंड होने से आसपास के जिलों से आने वाले यात्रियों को भी सुविधा होगी।जान दे देंगे लेकिन जमीन नहीं


दीघा-राजीव नगर आवास बचाओ मोर्चा के संयोजक आरसी सिंह का कहना है कि ये जमीन आवास बोर्ड की नहीं है। किसानों से जमीन खरीदकर लोग बसे हैं। जान देगें, लेकिन जमीन नहीं देंगे।



दीघा विधायक संजीव चौरसिया का भी कहना है कि राज्य सरकार सार्थक निर्णय ले। मामला उलझा है। इस संबंध में मंत्री से मुलाकात करेंगे और विवाद का हल निकालेंगे। आवास बोर्ड एकतरफा ढ़ंग से मकानों को नहीं तोड़ सकता है।


1 एकड़ जमीन पर बने मकानों को तोड़ा जाएगा। अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं से सुसज्जित टाउनशिप बनाई जाएगी। वैध आवास में रहने वालों को मुआवजा दिया जाएगा तथा अवैध रूप से बसे लोगों को प्रशासन के सहयोग से हटाया जाएगा।

This time I came driving to Patna from Delhi, and I saw the infrastructure along the highway. Skyline changes from high rise to green fields till Lucknow, indicating lesser population and comparatively well off area, with helipads, stadiums, expressways, good infrastructure along the way. Lucknow is a metropolis, and it has no dearth of infrastructure compared to Patna, just along its outer ring road! Numerous malls, metro, multiplexes, reputed builder's project along in Lucknow. And when you come out of lucknow the scenario is still good till Kushinagar even! Gorakhpur as a city in its own might is bigger and much better managed than any of tier 2 cities after Patna in Bihar. As soon as you enter Bihar, you have to finally get a grip on your clutch continuously. NH-28 is simply unmotorable in most parts(most of it under construction)!

You notice several other changes like Swanky food outlets to majestic dhabas to good dhabas till Gorakhpur. Suddenly it changes to rudimentary line hotels with the same pricing as the majestic dhabas, and no sense of service. Infrastructure wise, as we go east, scenario becomes grim! From high end residential complexes to simple homes in UP alone, you enter Bihar and see unplastered brick small houses! And one can gauge the difference overall! Roads, dhabas, buildings, everything takes a beating! From 500 km in 5 hours, without having to not put your foot on clutch and no break till Lucknow, and then rest 400 in next 5 hours till Kushinagar, you spend another 4-5 hours to reach 150 kms in Bihar!


This is not a complaint, comparison, or any thing else! Its just an experience which I wanted to share!!! Don't want to hurt anyone!

Bharat bhaiya lagta hai ab aap Patna me nahi rah rahe hai Warna yaha ki Samasya jarur bhejte jaesa k pahle karte the. Sayad aapko ye khabar nahi ho rahi k Patna me aaj v Barsaat k baad usi tarah har jagah pani bhar jata hai. Nothing Change Sayad aap UP shift kar gaye hai. Please don't hurt mai bus aapko miss kar raha hu mere pyare bhai please laut aaye. We r missing you very much.

The new parallel bridge towards west of MG Setu isn't set in motion yet, so I believe this pillar must be of Ganga Driveway Path which is to be made till Deedarganj from Digha!


@Rashid, If you read my above post comparing the infrastructure as we travel east, you must have read what I meant! Regarding Patna, yes it is in shambles! Rubbles! If you go past the MGB government, in this very same forum, where NDA was in power I was always fighting the newspaper snippets, and lack of development. And neither do I wish accolades for myself, nor mind abuses when it comes! I keep on criticizing the powers that be! And yes, I haven't shifted, but as I mentioned in the forum, I was on a road trip.

Was travelling, driving all by myself from Patna to Ranchi, Ranchi to Varanasi>Allahabad>Kanpur>Delhi>Jaipur>Jodhpur>Ahmedabad>Delhi>Lucknow>Gorakhpur>Patna! And reached here on my birthday and wrote the piece comparing the landscape!

May be but the volume of passengers that Patna handles is uncomparable to Indore , Raipur , Bhopal , Jabalpur etc. Non - presense of new ISBT is unfortunate.


I used to think earlier that Bhopal comes in league of Patna , Lucknow , Jaipur. But after visiting my perception changed, Patna is 10 times more vibrant city than Bhopal .


Indore is really something that MP should boast about but Bhopal seems like Soya hua sheher . Bhopal is in saturation stage , it was doing good during late 2000s. You may find good roads , parks , lakes etc. but don't think there is any mega project going on in Bhopal unlike Patna has many.



Although its population is nearly equal to that Patna but its far behind in aviation sector too. Monthly passenger movement from Bhopal airport is just more than 50,000 even it has brand new integrated terminal with aerobridges and longer runway. Whereas its about 250,000 from Patna airport. Though both of them are well developed in Railways segment.


And its the negligence of BJP - JDU government that they never paid attention on developing parallel cities to Patna in Bihar. Muzaffarpur , Gaya , Bhagalpur etc. are major contenders. Jabalpur and Gwalior come after Indore and Bhopal in MP.


What Chattisgarh made good is Naya Raipur apart from it nothing great. And very less people live in naya raipur , its not well settled yet , its the future city.

Government can't change everything . Something needs to be done by people themselves. Because development is a cumulative and cooperative process. Public participation is a necessary thing in development of any state.

Bhai bahut achcha kaha kal tak Government jimmedar thi but ab Public ho gayi. Waah bhai kuch muhavra hai koi lota wala. Kuch is tarah ki baat bolte hai. Waese mere bharat bhaiya kahi kho gaye hai koi khoj kar la de. 1 crore se jyada log badh(flood) me dube huye hai apart unko relief diya jaye hamare manniya Deputy CM sahab Lalu yadav k file ki khoj me din raat jute huye hai. Hona to chahiye tha k Flood ka relief ka jayja lete magar kursi mil gayi log marte rahe Lalu ko nahi chorege bhai lalu ko mat chorna pahle janta ko sahi se pakad lo. Rahat pahuchane k naam par srf lipa poti ho rahi hai Yaqeen na aye to jara ghum aaye un elako me. Mujhe to bahut mayusi huyi un jagaho k halat ko dekhkar.
