S'pore-based developer buys Iskandar plot
Pacific Star Development said the site will house a mixed-use development, with a gross floor area of about 1.3 million sq ft The Straits Times - May 4, 2013 By: Rachael Boon Share on facebook Share on twitter Share on email Share on favorites Share on print | More Sharing ServicesMore An artist’s impression of the Puteri Harbour project, which will be a mixed-use development with waterfront apartments and a retail centre. -- PHOTO: NYR ARCHITECTS THE development arm of real estate investment house Pacific Star Group will be making waves in rapidly emerging Iskandar Malaysia, after a new acquisition there. Singapore-based Pacific Star Development has bought a prime waterfront freehold plot of 339,800 sq ft in Puteri Harbour for RM93.328 million (S$38 million), from master developer UEM Land. Puteri Harbour is about midway between the Causeway and the Second Link at Tuas. Pacific Star Development said the site will house a mixed-use development, with a gross floor area of about 1.3 million sq ft. This includes waterfront apartments and small office, home office (Soho) units, which will be designed with a sea view in mind. The integrated project will also be home to a two-level commercial lifestyle retail centre of about 120,000 sq ft, with views of the private marina that will be built later this year. The project is just five minutes away from the Puteri Harbour Custom, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Centre, which is almost ready for ferry service operations. It is due to open later this year. Officials have suggested that a ferry service could be operated from the Puteri Harbour CIQ Centre to Singapore. The chief operating officer of Pacific Star Group and president of Pacific Star Development, Mr Glen Chan, said: "Our integrated waterfront project will bring a slice of affordable luxury to the centre of Puteri Harbour, catering to the accommodation needs of discerning Malaysians, Singaporeans and the growing expatriate community in the Iskandar region." This is part of a move to strengthen their development business in Asean countries. He added that it looks forward to launching the sales before the end of this year, with an aim of a gross development value of more than RM1.18 billion. Construction is slated for completion by mid-2017. ![]() http://www.pacificstargrp.com/press_...i_Harbour.html ![]() http://www.garis.com.my/project/puteri-harbour Last edited by Arcachon; May 7th, 2013 at 01:18 PM. |

![]() SINGAPORE: Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong telephoned Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak on Monday afternoon to congratulate him on his victory in the hard-fought Malaysian General Election. Mr Lee said that he looked forward to continue working with Mr Najib to strengthen ties. Both Prime Ministers agreed to further enhance their close bilateral partnership. Mr Lee has also written a congratulatory letter to Mr Najib. In his letter, Mr Lee said the Barisan Nasional's convincing win reflects people's confidence in Mr Najib's leadership, and the value they placed on continuity and stability. Mr Lee noted this was a particularly hard-fought general election. However, Mr Najib ran a strong campaign that focused on the people's concerns and persuaded them of his vision for Malaysia. Mr Lee added that as discussed at their Leaders' Retreat in February, the two countries have large and growing stakes in each other's success. Mr Lee said his wife Ho Ching joins him in congratulating PM Najib, and in wishing him and his wife Datin Sri Rosmah continued good health and success. - CNA/ac http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/...-w/664876.html |

The physical model seems different from the perspective? The pers looks world class but the model looks forgettable... Hmm... Back view?

The model shows only TowerA (left) and C(right, lesser units and more exclusive). The perspective on the brouchers etc. so far i think is TowerB.

Any news on our south key mega mall update?
Any photos of our JPO phase 2 construction going? Passed by puteri harbor today, constructions going on pretty smoothly. Sommerset Waterfront apartment is at level 4-5 already, Traders hotel almost opening and looks very nice indeed, very glassy in the middle. They have nice waterfront broad walk too, looks very world class overlooking the bay and yachts, but tenants not confirm and not open yet. Hopefully it will be famous international franchise coming. Once the restaurants and bars and hotel open I think it will very nice, reminds me of Docklands in Melbourne. If the apartments opened it will pretty amazing, everything is nicely planned, lotsa nice trees planted feels like in Singapore, modernly constructed. 3-5 years from now, puteri harbor I think will be pretty picturesque. Imperia condo also progressing slowly, now at level 5-6? Not sure on the new hoarding up besides the imperia, and there was this beautiful landscape garden just oppsite imperia and within the hoarding, with playground and some water feature landscape. I feel puteri harbor can be a really nice place to be and already outpaced the development as compared to danga bay, still empty and reclaiming lands forever after so many years and project constructions are going on so slowly, if I can remember only Tropez is undergoing construction atm. |

Published: 2013/05/20 http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_New...#ixzz2TqAX7eHD PASIR GUDANG: KPJ Healthcare Bhd, which plans to extend its network of hospitals soon, will open a hospital each in Muar and Johor Baru. President and managing director Amiruddin Abd Satar said the hospital in Bandar Dato 'Onn, Johor Baru, was one of the six hospitals under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). "The group has invested RM814 million in the ETP which will generate a Gross National Income of RM1.32 billion," he told reporters after the opening of the RM73 million Pasir Gudang Specialist Hospital by Johor Corporation president and chairman of KPJ Healthcare Bhd Datuk Kamaruzzaman Abu Kasim. He said besides building more hospitals, the group would also step up work ethics, improve patient care and beef up patient safety in accordance with international standards. Amiruddin said half of its 22 hospitals, operating nationwide, were accorded the Malaysian Accreditation Society for Quality in Health while two others were also recognised by the Joint Commission International.-- Bernama
