Orascom is also reportedly funding construction work on the 105-storey Ryugyong Hotel, a Pyongyang landmark suspended for nearly 20 years because of funding problems.
Yes it is the longest supertall to be under construction ever. But it is not the longest amount of time for any Tower. That Title goes to the 170 Meter tall; "Sagrada Familia". Which I'm glad so say will be finished in my lifetime!

2009 was five years ago... No need to post outdated stuff just for the sake of mocking North Korea. Please post an updated picture. There's no need in denying that over these last five years the look and the state of the building have improved dramatically. The pace of the progress has been slow indeed but we should nevertheless admit that progress HAS taken place.
No you're not! But I have the feeling that this guy 압둘라-爱- LOVE has just been trying to belittle the work of the North Korean builders by pretending that the state of the building back in 2009 is still somehow relevant to the present.
I would say Pyongyang is mostly quarantined in that there's just so many places that tourists can't go to freely by themselves. But yeah, it isn't completely locked up.
