GT buying more shares in Federal Land means that they want to increase their exposure to the booming real estate industry. There's no letting up in the construction boom in North Boni.

I heard now in the Fort that with Mayor Lani Cayetano there seems to be a drastic reduction in the systemic nature of corruption. Everyone has a level playing field in the processing of permits in Taguig City. And some have concluded that they will construct as much as they can now for fear that the next administration might not have the same reform agenda as this administration.

BGC is a great invest for end users and potential value appraisal. IMO, Hands down better than Makati, Rockwell, Century City, Eastwood, Newport City

A little scary (unlike few years ago) if you are buying for rental purpose.

Looks like Central Parkwest is better than this in terms of location. Well, if Apple Park will push through!

Is this the real location of Hyatt. meaning Grand Hyatt hotel will be very near in squaters like community of Taguig and the hotel guest will wake up seeing roofs with Kalawangs.

True they are not squatters. Aparently, I heard from one of our employees who lives in that area, that during the 80's the government were selling the land to military soldiers for only a few hundread pesos per sq/m. So the previous owners are soldiers and they have passed it on to their families.

Those houses are not squatters! From an aerial view sure they have small houses, ugly roofs and no gardens thats why they look like squatters. But once you go down there it's actually a peaceful community of middle class families and military welfare housing beneficiaries.

I don't know what this building is but this is located beside Lexus and before Grand Hyatt. Perhaps where the models units will be?

hello all, im from federal land btw. hehe its nice to know many of you are interested about the details of this... 50 floors for the grand hyatt residences, 104 sq m. smallest unit (2br) and the biggest unit is 407 sq m. (5br) hehe around 220k+ pesos per sq. meter. and dont be confused with the Grand hyatt hotel at grand hyatt residences because they are different from each other

Wow testing the P200+K/SQM price range already, that will be a new market high as far as Fort Boni pricing goes. With this kind of pricing, looks like still no signs of a realestate market crash happening anytime soon. I'd be curious to see just how well the sales numbers of this Hyatt residence project will be. Just that Ayala sold out their Suites project in what 4 days and it won't surprise me if the few Shang units will sell out just as quick if not sold out already at this time. If this P200+K/SQM Hyatt residence project performs as good as Ayala and Shang projects, then this is really good news for BGC investors (especially the early investors) as this will no doubt help with the price appreciation of their investments in BGC. Very exciting times indeed for Fort Boni investors! WooHoo!

Hyatt and Bonifacio Landmark Announce Plans for a Grand Hyatt Hotel and Residences in Manila
The Finance
http://finchannel.com/news_flash/Tra...ces_in_Manila/

The FINANCIAL -- Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into an agreement with Bonifacio Landmark Realty and Development, a joint-venture company between property developer Federal Land Inc. and Japanese financial services group ORIX Corporation, for a Grand Hyatt hotel and Grand Hyatt branded residences in Manila, Philippines.

Expected to open in 2015, Grand Hyatt Manila and Residences will be part of a two-tower upscale mixed use project in the residential, entertainment and business district of Fort Bonifacio Global City in Metro Manila. Grand Hyatt Manila will be located on the top 14 floors of the 66-story office and hotel tower, and will offer 438 guestrooms. Additional hotel amenities will include a dramatic and energetic lobby, multiple food and beverage offerings, a spa, fitness center and pool, and comprehensive business and meeting facilities with state of the art technology. As Hyatt Hotels Corporation reported, the residences will be located in the second tower, and will offer 220 luxury units with private access to the hotel’s amenities, including the spa, fitness center and pool and restaurants.

Just recently, the substructure of the Grand Hyatt Manila was topped off, marking another milestone for the project. Wong + Ouyang and Ove Arup & Partners are the architect and engineer responsible for the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Residences; the firms have also worked on several other Hyatt projects, including Grand Hyatt Shanghai and Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Bilkey Llinas Design will design the interiors of the hotel.

“As the political, economic, social, and cultural center of the Philippines, Manila is attracting entrepreneurs and business owners that have an appetite for luxury brands and residences,” said Ratnesh Verma, senior vice president of real estate and development, Asia Pacific, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. “Grand Hyatt Manila and Residences is a remarkable opportunity to expand the presence of the iconic Grand Hyatt brand in this rapidly growing Southeast Asia market.”

“We are honored to work with Bonifacio Landmark Realty and Development Corporation and to introduce the Grand Hyatt brand to the Philippines,” said Larry Tchou, group president, Asia Pacific, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. “We are confident the hotel will deliver a new hospitality experience, and we look forward to serving the neighborhood community as well as business and leisure travelers from around the world.”

“This milestone is testament to a fruitful relationship between companies that share the same vision,” says Alfred V. Ty, Chairman of Bonifacio Landmark and President of Federal Land. “It also symbolizes the future of a modern Philippines.”

Grand Hyatt Manila and Residences will be the center of the master-planned development Veritown Fort, which will house 11 residential projects, premier dining option and upscale retail spaces and boutiques. Facing 7th and 8th Avenues, the hotel and residences will provide guests and residents with convenient access to Kalayaan Avenue and the business and residential district of Makati. Additionally, the hotel and residences will be in close proximity to the many restaurants and retail outlets located in High Street, Serendra, Burgos Circle, the Fort Square, and Fort Strip, as well as the Ayala Land’s Market! Market! shopping center.

Upon opening, Grand Hyatt Manila and Residences will be the second Hyatt-branded hotel in the Philippines joining Hyatt Hotel & Casino Manila.
