This is the location of the proposed tower. It would form a a large cluster composing ofthe BD Bacata Building, The Colpatria Tower, Centro Internacional Complex, Avianca Building, The Centro de Commercio, and several other high rises.
Yes, since I am not no where near Bogota, much less the lot where this is being built, I have would have no idea if this building is under construction. Because of that, I've listed it as project. So, yes, you're right. This is currently a project. Let's hope this thing rises soon!
I think chances of this getting built are 0.01%. And even if it did get built it would be highly out-of-place considering Bogota's skyline isn't too tall. Bogota should be building higher gradually, none of these vanity towers more befit for Dubai that look mediocre and stick out.
Esto lo encontré en una revista hace un par de semanas, hacen una mención del proyecto y confirman los datos que ya se tenían aunque aún parece muy prematuro...
"More pics of EntreCalles Tower or Megatorre Av 19, taken from architect's web site... it says Licence Approved. Maybe it'll bring a Little more support to the project"
Mas imágenes de la Torre Entre Calles o Megatorre av 19, tomadas de la pagina del arquitecto....en la que dice licencia aprobada. Tal vez esto le de un poco mas de seriedad al proyecto.
The project is alive! on going works in the area! there's little information about it but as far as I know the project its gonna be built by stages and there's two towers designed by Richard Rogers.
According to a forumer in the Colombian forum who walked by around the site this morning, they are already working with heavy machines and he saw a soilmec sc 40 crane working on the area.
