There's no denying that many people base their vote on completely asinine things. I've lost count of the number of people who said they voted for someone because they thought the candidate was cute, reminded them of their father, or promised to fund some pet project they liked.
That's no way to elect a leader of a nation. I wouldn't even choose the head of a household that way.

That was very interesting! "Canada's War on Weed" sounds very dramatic! Hard to imagine there is a war on it, when there are Vapour Lounges on every street that advertise openly and have doors wide open to the public every day. There are two or three of them within an easy walk of my house. A friend of mine uses "Medical Marijuana" that he gets at one of the "dispensaries" and saves his receipts because he can claim them legally on his income tax return. People smoke it on the street, too.
I didn't get a chance to go to the huge pot rally on Saturday ((which is the largest of the global event), but here is a funny article on it: http://torontoist.com/ Some Global Marijuana Marchers Opt to Stay Put Participants at Toronto's Global Marijuana March had a fun, peaceful party at Queen's Park. And then half of them forgot to march........ read it here: http://torontoist.com/ and another article: http://www.torontostandard.com/the-s...at-queens-park High Times at Queen's Park Our intrepid reporter, Captain Buzzkill, heads to Toronto's Global Marijuana March May 13th, 2013 High Times at Queen's Park “Remember when I came here last year with that ounce,” boasted a shirtless teen to his red-eyed friend. “I smoked it all to my face!”..... read it here: http://www.torontostandard.com/the-s...at-queens-park As you can see, it is not all that hidden anymore: ![]() ![]() ![]()
