The Park really was a smart addition to JLT. I wish they would replicate it on the other parts and reduce the lake size to have park around it.

Thanks

A feeder bus will be a much needed addition to JLT but it needs to be a constantly circulating hop on / hop off service connecting all the towers to the metro stations. 20 - 30 minutes is far too long to be waiting in the summer heat without the benefit of A/C stops.

The info on the RTA website is very poor

New hotel at JLT.

Seven Tides is currently working on a new hotel plan that will be launched at Dubai's Jumeirah Lake Towers.

The company's CEO Abdulla Bin Sulayem revealed in an interview with Hotelier Middle East that Seven Tides will manage the property itself and is close to announcing a contractor for the project.

The company currently owns four hotels in the region: Dukes Dubai; Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort; Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate and Avani Hotel in Deira.

With the latter three, the management contracts to operate those properties have been given to Minor Hotels, in the case of Anantara and the Avani; and Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts, for Mövenpick Ibn Battuta. Seven Tides currently operates the Dukes Dubai hotel, as well as the Dukes London (which it also owns).

"The four-star hotel will be a part of a cluster of three towers, two of which will be residential. The hotel will be a new concept and brand and the target market will be a more casual-clientele," Bin Sulayem revealed to Hotelier.

The complex will also feature a retail area for residents and hotel guests.

Wasn´t a part of one of the lakes considered to be dried up again and used as plot for a mosque?

Yeah i think you are right ... Plus the one in the other side of JLT is arguably packed to the brim already.
