Sarah Tower | Dale Street | 68m | 24 floors | Cancelled

I can confirm Sarah Tower wll be built!

(The original design)

Work has begun on clearing the site, as we are aware!

It will be 22 storeys high and will be completed by December 2008!

The design has also changed slightly!

(Piccadilly Basin/Place will be awesome! Sarah Tower, Eastgate, Crown and all the other developments! What an entrance to the city)

Thank you, you know who!

That's fantastic.

Sarah Tower was one of my favourite proposals.

the 2nd rendering gives me some hope but by golly.. Picadilly is gonna have a cluster overnight, lol..111 Picadilly, Sarah, Albany, Eastgate, that one on PP... A cluster ranging from the 50m mark to over 180m... magic

Just hope it turns out a bit classier than that original render

Wonder who came up with the name Sarah?

Imagine if it was called the SHARON tower!

It would probaly need a Burberry Cap and earrings as its crown and masts..

And take it from me, it's gonna be FUCKING WINDY as hell round there too - as if standing beneath the 111 Piccadilly Tower isn't gusty enough already, as everyone who walks along there will readily testify....

The other, would just be bulldozed :S

I told you they weren't storing material.

Although there is a huge pile of rebar frame at one corner of the site.

It's gonna be a tricky construction. You've got 210ft of 111 Piccadilly right next door and there is a canal around 2 sides of the site:
Bottom left.

How many years has this been around? Didn't we hear about the original incarnation(Dale Street Tower) back in 2000/01?
