Thumbs up

Great news for the housing project. I wonder how much the bungalows cost.

What a rip-off! For 1.8 million Kshs I would rather live in my parent's basement or servants quarters.
150 meters off the main Mombasa-Malindi road: So, that means me and my family have to deal with the incessant road noise 24-7!

• American open plan kitchen with inbuilt cabinets
Ha! You can't be serious!?!?! Not only do I have to invest in an air & noise filter, but more on expensive kitchen appliance that I don't need nor want!

Bungalows??? They look more like glorified mud huts! 1.8 million Kshs? Really?
No wonder the Kenyan coast people have been marginalized. Wow!

Just to add; If you have 1.8 Million Kshs to burn, take time to invest it in a money market account. In ten years, with the recovering economy, you will have a portfolio of at least 10 million Kshs! (if not more).

Gated community my ass! You don't need one in that region! Looks like the global property managers have descended on the Kenyan coast to fleece the natives. Your property value will not increase on that scale over ten years!

What do you think of tourist buying villas along the coast and other rich people as well? That may increase the prices over time because of demand.
