This interesting bus was spotted in Skopje these days. It belongs to the American embassy in Skopje, and it's been used for transport of the embassy staff.

Most passengers were either black, arabs or from Eastern Europe. There must be a reason for them not to choose Ryan Air instead. I think it has to do with the luggage. If you have two heavy suitcases weighing more than 50kg, the bus will be cheaper. |

There is only a so called long distance bus terminal. Most long distanance buses go to Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö/Copenhagen. The companies are Swebus and Bus4u. Many other buses serve for the passengers to the cruiseships Viking Line & Silja in Stockholm International lines are few. Eurolines serves the route Stockholm-Copenhagen-Hamburg. There is a seasonal express bus to Prague via Malmö (ferry) and Berlin. This bus is very rare, only seen it a few times. In additon to that you can travel all the way to Serbia with a long distance bus, but it does not stop at the bus terminal.
