Badi Baoli, Hyderabad (step-well) (built: 16th-17th century)

About a year ago, I posted on this thread about a historical stepwell in Hyderabad, India that collapsed after centuries of neglect and decay. Now, I'm happy to say that it's fully restored!

A year ago:

Tomb of Jamshed Quli Qutb Shah, Hyderabad (tomb) (built: 1550)

Ruling ruled from 1543 to 1550, Jamshed Quli was the second sultan of Golconda. His now-conserved tomb is the only one amongst his family that is octagonal in shape.

Tomb of Ibrahim Qutb Shah, Hyderabad (you know what it is) (built: 1580)

The fourth ruler of Golconda, Ibrahim Qutb was known most notably for his patron of the arts and for Telugu poetry. His tomb is still being conserved, though the outer facade is mostly finished. His tomb also is one of the few that still has tilework remains.

Before:

Current progress (spot the tilework?):

Qutb Shahi Heritage Park, Hyderabad

And here are some of the more miscellaneous work that's being done on all the smaller tombs and mosques in the complex.

And if you're wondering why some parts of the wall and ceiling aren't restored, it's usually because there are existing details that are better preserved using more accurate methods.

The one in Cape Town is just unreal <3 I need to spend there at least one night, even if I had to work for that the whole year.
