LOS SAUCES RESERVOIR
Capital Department - La Rioja Province  Los Sauces ("The Willows") dam is located 15 km. (9 mi.) northwest of the city of La Rioja (provincial capital city); it stores the water from Los Sauces river and the artificial lake and surrounding area are interesting for camping, fishing activities and water sports. General Pedernera Department - San Luis Province Primera Lagoon (“The first lagoon”) is one of the most attractive lagoons of the several existing ones in the center-south of the province, with native vegetation and natural surroundings and is an interesting place for fishing activities. Although distant from the nearest cities (Villa Mercedes and Buena Esperanza), it is not that difficult to find it because it is located just north of provincial route 43.  arboles en el agua de la primera laguna by gapmendoza on Panoramio

AZUL RIVER
Cushamen Department - Chubut Province Azul River (“Blue” River) is an Andean-Patagonian river, 40 km. (24 mi.) long. Its name comes from the fact that is born of streams generated by the defrosting of Ice Blue Glacier in the Andes mountain range. After going through a deep valley, it ends at Puelo Lake. There are forests in its shores (photo) but they have little population, due to both the alluvium during the rainy season (autumn/winter) and the ecological conscience of the inhabitants of the area.
