Wow, NW cladding for the final few floors seems to be about 80% complete. I'd expect the tower to be fully clad by the end of this week or beginning of next by the looks of things now.

Looking at the spire, it doesn't look remotely complete, it looks like a mounting pole for comms equipment, incomplete without the coverings of the radome. Of course nothing can be done till the equipment (if any) is installed.

By that logic, no antenna in the western hemisphere looks completed.

No radome of such width and purpose has ever been added to any building in the western hemispere. The only real architectural radomes currently up are thin, like the one at the New York Times Tower.

New, (possibly) never before typed sentence: If I don't play the pipe organ tomorrow I'll model the Comm rings. In addition, I'll try to model the 89th floor and up so that I can (attempt to) make a 1080p photo-realistic animation of the top of the tower(assuming it doesn't require a week to render). I just made a render for the 3WTC thread and it took nearly three hours with lighting in just the lobby and reflective lobby materials.

Although it is a very nice building, in my opinion it cheats for height and does not have the prescience the old WTC had. We were cheated out!

Huh? It is almost exactly the same height as the former twins to roof, so when viewed from the sides, it has the same outline as one of the twins.

No offense, but you're on the other side of the planet. I've actually stood next to this building about 100 times, from when it was a mass of rebar below street level. I have been all over NYC and the hudson waterfront of NJ. I can tell you right now, the spire will not look right without the radome added, and frankly in my opinion should not be counted towards height until it does. There has been so much unbalanced compromise on the design from day one that the least they could do is actually follow through on this one simple thing. This will be a source of pride for many people, it makes no sense to do less than they could and leave it as an ugly "stick". NY times, BoA, 4 times square all have nice looking spires, this one is not pleasant visually because it isnt complete.
